Given really soft ground at Chester, he should have been evens and Changingoftheguard 7/4. Just couldn't compute the betting as it was.

I agree, looked over the racing post yesterday and picked out Hamish as the bet of the day. Then watched the replay of the Newbury race where he finished 2nd to Max Vega and decided not to have a bet. Typically he hacked up.

Hamish don't u just love this horse. I swear Maureen was emotional obviously loves the horse. Tom gave him a great ride as usual. Changing of the guard looks like he needed the run but Hamish he really is a bit of a favourite of mine

I think it was all the rollover money from the O'Brien / Moore win earlier on San Antonia that was then doubled up onto Changingoftheguard that falsely compressed his odds and causing Hamish's to drift. This created a false market between the both horses realistic opportunities of winning.

Yes I thought this was abit of stretch for Changingoftheguard. That was against a tough opponent who gave Kyprios a race. I remember.
