I applaud you on getting the under quilt from the beginning. I started with pad but I also started hammocking in the summer so it was easier to start with a pad. Plus alot of times I didn't even use a pad. BTW "because I can" good one.....

Thanks Emil, yes hammocks are great! Nothing wrong with those 2-dollar tarps, i love them! Yes for set-up, a hammock is very versatile. Thanks as always bro!

Well... I hated the bulk of pads around that time when i started hammocking. I've now found ways to pack down pads to make them less bulky, but i still like the quilt alot ;)

I have also DD equipment, my choice was the travel hammock, it's breathing capabilities are not that bad as you make it sound, i have no complains about that. but i chose the travel version because i can now also use it in a bivvy set-up. The snug-pac is a good addition, now i use a DIY UQ but i am thinking of upgrading to the snug-pac.

awsome bro, i allso use a hammock, though its a net-hammock and i use one of those 2 dollars tarp, but it works great, sleeping like a baby in it, you get so much more potential to set upp camp on lokation you otherwise never would have passed, great vid as allways bro, keep em comming

I think that the underblanket fits better into a rucksack, and YES you do need some kind of under-insulation, and the underblanket is less bulky than a pad/mat, atleast in my opinion! Yes, the underblanket IS expensive, but then again, money is not the problem, bulk and space is more important.

I like them because of the "sturdyness" xD Good idea to replace it.

I'm thinking the same thing after trying the hammock out, but I do want some space for hanging my backpack and I have concerns that the amsteel is going to tear through the stitching. Maybe you have an idea about the elastic cord and where to put it to avoid rain dripping along it to the netting. I haven't been camping in the rain yet but in theory that's what's going to happen.

God video. Hvad er dimensionerne på dit tarp? Bare nysgerrig. Bruger selv et BASHA fra UK army. De er helt fantastiske, hvis man kan finde et som ikke er kopieret. Wb tex BASHA er ikke så god som originalen. Kan bruges som båre også. Har en kort review af det. Mvh, Lars

Lol... It was kind of on the line. I have now removed all of the rope that was attached. It's useless, cause the lenght of the tree hugger and the whoopie sling is plenty.

It was just a joke mate, i know it might get misunderstood, trust me i have thought about it many times. It came out differently than it was suppose to, i worked to get that stuff too ya know.

I thought the joke about buying was pretty neat. I ordered the travel hammock as well, even though I plan to use it in countries like Greece, Spain and the South America's. Will see how that goes. Did you cut the original rope from the hammock that's connected to the carabiner, or did you just make some kind of a knot there? It seems to me (haven't received my order yet) that it would be useful to keep some of the length for areas with fewer good trees. Thanks for the video, though.

ofcourse those 2 dollar tarps is a bit heavy, bit good and sturdy , i did get some timny ass shit-line to suspend my hammock with when i bought it, i replaced them with flagpole line that had a 270 kg breaking-point and realy thin, hehehehe
