I'll never be able to express how grateful i am for your music guys ... Throughout all these years, it allowed me to escape from all of the things that blur my mind on a daily basis. I've been suffering from depression for 10 years and still am, but your music is one of the few things that make me feel at peace in my mind ... Hey brother, I hope that are able to transcend that one day. Remember that you are a spiritual being having a human experience. And it is often pain that is the greatest of all teachers.

Listening to this album was different. It felt like a "welcome home" experience, it's hard to explain. All your music hits differently, but this album truly stood out for me and I was in awe for the last 30minutes. When I heard in the Heavy Laden/Shape of Longing, that sealed my experience. I will forever remember this.

When the guitars break through on some of the less ambient tracks - those are the moments that remind me of Hammock's early music. And that's when "welcome home" effect kicks in for me. Indeed, it looks like we're all feeling this album similarly.

I have been following hammock for only 3 years, i don't know much about "early hammock vibes", but I can for sure declare "Elsewhere" is by far the most enlightened album. With this, Hammock has finally succeeded to reach salvation in God's Heaven. This is the first album that was able to give me clear visions while i was trying to get sleep. I was able to see eveything green colored in an underwater scenery. That was amazing. I could only feel inner peace.

Hammock has been a soundtrack to my life for a long time. It was playing as I wrote my two books. My wife and I sleep to it as soothing background on our Echo. Oblivion Hymns was my first obsession, then the brilliant, deep triumvirate of Mysterium, Universalis and Silencia. That drove me back to your earlier stuff - all brilliant. I love Stars of the Lid, Winged Victory for the Sullen, Dead Texan, Sigur Ros - but I always return to Hammock. As I type this I am listening through Elsewhere for the first time. No words. Thanks for the glorious sounds....healing is so necessary in these disturbing, bizarre, angry times.
