People, it’s simple… Audi sells Lamborghinis and R8’s… When one of their lower cost performance sedans blows them out of the water with just a few modifications, you’re damn right they’re gonna shut that sh*t down! It’s all about money, and VAG doesn’t want guys like you and me affecting sales of those higher end cars! IF they unlock the 8Y, and, that’s a big IF, my guess is they’ll do so with certain hand picked tuners (Unitronic, APR, etc.) and limit what they can do! Shout out to my 🇨🇦 peeps!

Maybe, but if you have the money, you're not going to be persuaded to go with a RS3 over a Lamborghini, even if it has the same HP with a tune, a Lamborghini is a different experience, that's what you're paying for, to go fast and have the Lambo lifestyle, women's attention etc.

Decat downpipes and some of the other mods he made like removal of the particulate filter make this car illeagal to drive on the UK public roads, and unable to pass MOT. How does he get round this? Does he have these things refitted for MOT? I'd love to know as id love to go stage 2 for my S3 but dont want the grief of failing MOT etc.

World's fastest that's still unlocked? I'm not sure about that, check out what a few guys in Holland have done to theirs... out of interest, how many people would risk modifying a new car and invalidating their warranty? That's a very risky thing to do and Audi have no hesitation in telling customers that repairs will come out of their pocket if they modify the car. A buddy of mine tinkered with his new RS5 and the car later developed a fault in the engine, he ended up with a three grand bill. Audi would not budge. You also need to list our everything to your insurer and many will not touch you after that. Also, OPF delete... in 3 years time it will fail its MOT.
