When was the last time the car had a haldex service? Sounds to be slipping at the front a lot? clogged filter can cause 4wd to not work as well, common on these cars 🙂

Just had my pump removed and couldn't even see the filter at 40k

a tip for you ;) do some hiarspray in the pipe and than mount it :) will never pop off again..

Lovely driving, i would advice getting some heavy duty boost pipe clamps, those with a 10mm bolt, i had the same issue on my ea113 engine unfortunately it was my charge pipe that comes out the turbo which was hard to reach aside the road, i even had to hit indentured in the section where the pipe would sit for it not to pop off again even with the heavy duty clamps, some use hairspray, to make it stick from what i have heard but my method worked wonders so far, i hit mini claw points where the silicone pipe can hook up in and it has been solid so far.excited to see the interior changes that are coming.👍

It would be awesome to see some kind of aero upgrades on the Golf, for example a start with a simple custom made flat floor and then see how it helps you on the track or does it change how it feels etc

My friends stage 2 track tool blew after 25k miles. Mixed street and nurburgring miles. Stock will be a lot better probably. Have to be a bit lucky i guess like with all cars.

@@jamstersmith4625 I got it v from a vw dealer so hopefully the 2yr warranty will cover it.. I did mention that to them

@@woodyr5gt113my clutch went at 18k and was still under warranty but they wouldn't cover it as its classed at wear and tare abit like brake pads. Its abit of a grey area as they also said they can strip the car down and check the clutch to see if its something other than wear and tare and maybe fix it but then they have you over a barrel because of course they're going to say it's how it's been driven then you have the crazy cost of them checking and back then £112 an hour labour and it's not a small job removing the gear box and everything else. I only had the car a month dam it :)and I never once launched it. I ended up replacing it with a helix clutch and new flywheel £1000 and a vw specialist fitted it for £600. No hard launches and hopefully you will get plenty more miles out of it

If you are getting serious you need some aero components and weight savings. I doubt you need anymore power, once you strip the interior and all the other stuff you don’t need you’ll be much lighter. Enjoying the build and content!
