Hi. My ft1d dosen't send the command when hitting the Dx button. The X shows up in the upper left corner, but goes away. Any thoughts on how to fix this? is there any mis configuration I have done?

So I have not wires x. Am I using a Hotspot on yaesu ft1xd? How to add a hotspot on a yaesu ft 1xd

OK, that's all well and good via a repeater, but what about if one's going via a hotspot? How do I activate WIRES-X that way?

You can't. Yaesu does not allow it. That's why I got rid of fusion, DSTAR functions all work through hotspot and repeater

@@HamRadioConcepts I was able to 'activate' the WIRES-X, on America-RC, and it showed that there were 18 stations, but when I hit "Enter", I got the "wait", then it just reverted back to the previous screen. Is that what you're talking about as far as Yaesu not allowing it, and why don't/won't they allow it?

I think you said it quickly at the end of the video, but you can select a specific repeater by the DTMF number using the FT1D?

Is it possible to create a Private room for voice, I ask as may be very important for ecomm in my case ARES to be able to communicate with other ares members privately as some of our communications are limited due to general coverage and that anyone can hear??
