I had yet to hear a piano version of this work that surpassed all of the organ versions that I had heard. Now I have ... Beautifully executed.

From one who sells new Feurich grands with the pédale harmonique, this is an excellent illustration of the effect along with the warm tone of the piano. It may seem like engineered "reverb" on these KZbin videos, but the "inverse sostenuto" is so much richer sounding in person to the player and the listener! Paul, this is a fine performance, complete with smoothly executed 3rds in your right hand. Appreciate your videos!

This is actually meant to be played by a whole orchestra: full of violins, flutes, drums and so much more! Don't ask me how he pulled all of this off with just a single piano and only two hands!

His specutacular performance he plays with exquisite skill and breathtaking technique is beyond description , inspirational and comfortable to the ear and the mind . Without Handel and his great performer such as he , the classical music world would have been very lonely and insipid and the enjoyment and pleasures of the classical music would have been less From Tokyo of the Land of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵 There is something extraordinary in his specutacular performance

Love it! I have always seen Handel as a safe composer, in that regard that his music is always so safe! For me he gets a bit lost between Bach and Mozart, my go-to composers in this pre-romantic era! But this was a Great piece, of course performed with perfection here! Ill be sure to put on a Handel Playlist when going to sleep, in just a couple of minutes from now! ..as the Magician Angelo sais; Magic!!:)
@MikeSmith-pe4sl

ThomasAndersenPiano that’s really interesting, as I have always personally considered Handel as being a superior composer to Bach. I find the outstanding technicality in the music of Bach is often at the expense of any real passion. There are some exceptions to that though. Handel’s music is full of feeling though I think, but it may just be me projecting that.
