In December of 2021 COmpass REsonance performed Part 1 (the Christmas portion) of Handel's Messiah in a version for vocal and instrumental soloists. Using Handel's manuscripts and Nic McGegan's authoritative edition of the full score, BBF music director Zachary Carrettin created a new set of parts reflecting subtle adaptations for a one-per-part ensemble. The first performances took place at Broomfield Auditorium, Colorado.
