Sounds like "handle dragging" is a bad thing. I hit my best shots ,and with least effort , when I think about nothing BUT dragging the handle. With a very light grip I don't have to even THINK about when to release the club because physics (centripetal acceleration) does it for me and I don't even have to THINK about squaring the clubface because it rotates around its sweet spot all on it's own. Its when your grip is too tight that handle dragging (aka tolling the bell, pulling the chain, karate chopping etc) gets you in trouble because you prevent the natural release from happening.

Brian, I’d like to register for your forum but the ‘recaptcha’ is out of date which means I can’t register. Is there another way I can join? Is there an administrator email I can contact? Thanks

Gregg McHatton and Trevino amongst others drag the handle length wiseall the way through impact , the hit the ball beautifully! That being said Brian’s ideas on the release are valid too. Sergio does pull the handle length wise earlyin the downswing, but when the club is parallel at P6 he starts bring the handle Inward and clubhead outward toward the ball. He doesn’t drag the handle all theway through to release it. Both ways are effective
