What we'll have to do to play Imp King Rafaam next expansion is simple: we change the date and time to last year and include Imp King Rafaam in our warlock deck. Then we recalibrate it and boom! It worked!

I think Brann is just too valuable to cut. Maybe cutting 1 Grimoire for Brann? Doubling up on Theotar, Spice Bread Baker, or Lady Darkvein just feels too powerful. Like if Alley is your last shadown and on turn 8 you Brann with Darkvein you're gonna make like 4 7/7 or 8/8s. Also, holding Brann with Baker allows you to get out of Brann/Denathrius Range against anything other than Druid most of the time.

Its so nice cause I dont have to figure out what they think they saw, when someone just says “missed lethal” with no context I have to reimagine the last turn and sometimes pull up the VOD 😭 derails the stream.

Slow, expensive value engines like Sargeras are generally pretty terrible in handlock. It's really much more like an aggro deck than a control deck, and tends to have won or lost the game by turn ~8 or thereabouts.

You’re not trapped in the game. If you know you’ve lost you can leave. That it “wins” the game without ending it is pure upside for the opponent because decks with board clears can do something about it. It is more interactive than other combos for this reason.

@@sathrielsatanson Quest Mage and Shudderwock are two very different decks. The former is a combo deck where once it starts going off you literally cannot stop it by any means, by virtue of them taking as many extra turns as necessary to win the game. Shudder doesn't end the game-it fills the board. If you can consistently clear it, the deck becomes a lot less scary. That's the essence of Martian's point, I think (and I agree with him)
