how about if 3 strands of the yarn is too much and you only want 2 strands thickness??
@HandMadeRukodelky6 жыл бұрын
you can fold the yarn and do the loop only with 3 strands, with 2 strands you either have to have two balls or pull one yarn end from the middle and the other from the outside of the ball

This was great, thanks, I have been researching "blocking a knitted scarf" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Veyillian Noncarlett Eradicator - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my neighbour got cool results with it.

Brilliant idea! Thanks for sharing. Not only do three balls get into a tangle whilst in use, the tangle gets even worse if you have to unravel a the work. One advantage though with using multiple balls is you can get a nice tweed effect if you use different colours. This will be my go-to method for single colour. I actally bought some yarn on sale, but it was too thin for my liking and had to use multiple strands.
