Hey there! Thanks! :) There are many different ways to achieve a cool looking textures. You can mix different workflows like texture baking into diffuse and overpainting it and also have a normal maps. Or you can even paint or bake normal maps after you already painted a texture. Really depends of what kind of style you wanna get in your game :) I know many AAA Stylized games use some of those workflows

Hey mate! I think it's the wire - W key. Yeah, I just export Fbx and load it manually in 3d coat, takes 15sec :)

@4:00 cant alot of that color shading and blending be done with roughness maps? does that have the same or close result?

That depends on the style you want to get. If you go only diffuse/Handpainted, paint everything in. For PBR for sure you can. Sometimes we can mix those styles, really depends what you want to get :)

Hmm... The Student version I think have restrictions for 8 layers and texture size, so it's doable

Why 3D coat for hand painted instead of Substance Painter?

It's two different softwares, for different uses. Both are very handy. 3DCoat for pure handpainted, texture adjustments, easy layers and best brush engine. Substance for any stylized pbr, easy texture baking, and so on... :)

Not sure what you mean... You just grab your pen and start painting! It should have all the sensivity settings by the default, except the ones that you do with your hand ;)
