It looks like you are the guy I am looking for :) Is Ageha well balanced? I have heard some opinions that Megabass not always pays attention to this "detali" What's the real casting weight? Would you use it for trout fishing?

Thanks 👍👍 for putting in the work to make these informative and entertaining videos. I watch every video that you drop and usually place an order after watching them and 2 days later I'm trying out what I ordered from you guys. Absolutely no doubt your products are 🔥🔥🔥 and I mentioned it before they have helped me elevate my fishing game.

You guys gotta come to jersey for some big striper bites. They act just like how u where catching em on with spook but just twice as big and loud. When they hit those top water baits it sounds like someone smacking hand on water hard as hell. Also Oliver ngy loves those 3 piece rods he has a whole bunch an he used em for saltwater and they held up very good so for freshwater they def will work very well.

Thoughts on the dragoon for throwing NLBN swim baits or metal spoons off the jetties for saltwater fare here in Florida? Snook, Red Drum, juvenile tarpon if you get lucky. That kinda bite.

How small do the Valkyrie World Expedition Models break down to? Purchased the Triza lopros/grils from you guys and they're still too large to fit in a carry on bag unfortunately. I believe the 7'0'' lopros breaks down to around 28-29 inches. Curious whether the VKS-610 will break down to 21 or so. Probably going to pick up the Dragoon, or one of the Valkyries next pay check to round out my setup as I'm starting to kayak and multipiece is just too convenient.

I assume when you pull the rods apart, you reverse the twist?
@l_b-man
@l_b-man Жыл бұрын
That's exactly right. I switched completely to multi piece rods (4 pieces and up) because I like to travel for fishing. I primarliy fish 3 oz and up and I also have the VKC-80XXH-4 A couple of things: - Push and twist to assemble, twist and pull to disassemble - Never hold the pieces by the guides - you will bend them! - If you use more grip - use a neopren rod wrap to hold the blank - If you assemble the rod indoors (warm) you might not be able to take it apart in the cold (and vice versa). Let the rod warm up first. - Use ferule wax. 50/50 beeswax/petroleum jelly on the ferules will reduce ferule wear, prevent the ferules from slipping and locking up.

Thanks for the video, I've been waiting and wondering if you guys would give more information on these rods or just pass em off. What's the lowest rating for the valkyrie 7'11? And do you think it can handle the saltwater fishery in Florida? No idea what fish though
@thehookuptackle_usa
@thehookuptackle_usa 3 жыл бұрын
It can definitely handle saltwater. We were fishing it last night talking about how dope it would be for flats and tarpon. I’d say 1oz realistic for lighter weight

What amazes me about this video isn't the fish you're catching or the rod you're using- it's the fact that you appear to be the only boat out there. Where live , north Alabama, anywhere you can catch even one you're gonna need to take a number to fish it. I find places all the time where no one is fishing- but then I fish them and find out why no one is fishing there- the fishing sux. Anywhere I find that's decent, and no one is fishing it- I have to be super careful not to fish it very often cause if ppl see you there over and over they're not stupid- they know you're catching fish. They don't bother asking because they know what I'm gonna tell them, even if I'm catching them left and right- "Nope, haven't caught a thing- this place sux. " - but like I said, they're not stupid- if that were true you wouldn't be there all the time.

They're at the party lake. At 2pm on a Saturday, you're better off catching gonorrhea than you are fish. It's awesome on weekdays though.

That Okuma Citrix is great. I bought a four piece orochi xxx and immediately gave the Citrix to my son. Looking at a triza to go with the orochi. The orochi is in the $250 range. It’s night and day different. I haven’t taken the orochi apart, yet. Fish it every day. The Okuma only got used when I travelled. Look at the orochi!
