I love this color and this Camry design. I currently drive a Toyota Camry SE 2017 and Toyota of Bowie, Maryland having been bugging me to purchase my vehicle. I told them, I am not selling my vehicle not that I am retires with no car payments in 2023. What on earth would Toyota of Bowie think how would I get around selling my vehicle to them? Also, I live in Washington, DC where car jackings are up 104%. Driving this beautiful 2025 Camry XSE, the Seeds of Chucky (Juveniles) and criminals would car-jack me at gunpoint stealing this vehicle. You see nice vehicles like this Toyota XSE Camry will attract thieves.

The Accord is simply too long in appearance, giving it that "My Uncle's Car" look. The Toyota E-CVT Hybrid is a truly unique and superior drivetrain. Too each their own, I suppose.

Unsurprisingly, it looks like it is more of a significant refresh than a new model. You can tell both Honda and Toyota are not interested in heavily investing in their staple affordable mid-size sedan models anymore given the decline in sedan sales, as well as the move toward electric vehicles being imminent. Admittedly, the previous gen Camry and Accord were fantastic cars for their purpose and price point...so at least they are both based on really good core vehicles. That said, my initial reaction is that neither Camry or Accord is as exciting, cohesive, or innovative of a vehicle design as their predecessors.

It’s called an evolutionary redesign rather than a revolutionary. Not every new model needs to be a dramatic change from its last model to the new one like Hyundai and Kia It’s a design choice that draws you in that way The current 8th gen model has clearly sold like hotcakes for Toyota during a time where SUV’s run rampant. Love it. I mean once you get a great design, there is not much you can change. This Camry XLE and XSE are great. I never liked the interior of the old Camry. That Y looking dash, never did like it. But now I love that shifter and the "driver & passenger" division love it. Is like "honey from here to the driver door is ALL mine. You sit and relax in your passenger side, ok? " LOVE IT!!! I Can't wait for the new RAV4 though. Love the Camry but since I can just get one Toyota. RAV4 is for me. Great job Kirk. Ty

Great looking sedan, Toyota did a wonderful job making it look good while also keeping the conventional look. But I was caught off guard about how they made the Camry hybrid only, but at the same time it makes sense since Toyota hybrids are the best out there. Also, since people are saying that it is a heavy refresh of the current model on sale, which I won’t deny, but keep in mind that Toyota has done this in the past with the 7th generation Camry, they introduced the model originally in 2011 but was heavily refreshed for the 2015 model year. Still remember the “Bold new Camry” ad campaign they did for the 2015 Camry.

Pretty much, but that's also the same for the Accord and Civic. Most of the car companies developed new platforms last generation generation are just building off that for the new stuff. Honestly, all the Camry needed was an update to the technology and some of the materials and it was good to go. I'm happy it's not as ugly as the new Accord which looks totally sterile and generic.
