Love my Plaid X, adjusted to the yoke instantly. I still hate the swipe to drive feature. I also hate that the sub trunk does not have the notch to keep the lid in the up position while loading things into the bottom section. My crappy Chevy bolt even has that...

I got mine a couple weeks ago and us 5 seater Plaid orders really lucked out. Got it at $119,990 like him, but also were forced upgraded to the 6 seater for free when Tesla announced they would only produce Plaids in 6 seater config. I don’t think they comp’d anyone who already had a 6 seater order. The X LR in same config is now $129,490.

This video is one of the few Tesla reviews I appreciated. This could just be my opinion, but I feel most tesla reviews are pretty toxic, praising Elon like a god or relentlessly bashing combustion cars. As a car guy, this was an objective, humble review, and gave positive vibes. Respect.

I don't think there's plans to change the 3 and Y lines to S at Freemont is there? They have a big enough backlog to fill of Y orders. S and X are low volume cars.

Careful that 14% lighter and 13% higher energy density isn't mistaken for more storage. The new 100 kwh battery is actually several kwh's less than the old 100 kwh battery.

Just what I needed to see. I ordered a plaid x last Nov. First my app told me it was coming in March (which was sooner than I wanted for $ reasons) then suddenly the date changed to August. So I expect that may change also. It makes me wonder how they derive their estimated deliveries. Thx for the video.

I was taking delivery of a Plaid MX in March and it died 9 miles down the freeway and I mean dead, I was fortunate to be near a exit so had to cut across lanes to get off and then the dealer towed it back, next day let know it had a big issue and it would take 2 weeks to fix, I said no I want a new one, now on 26 April I take delivery of a new one, hope all is good on it.

Because these cars are still coming out of fremont. Now Giga Texas is open. The cars coming form that factory will be much better. Hopefully they will finally be able to upgrade Fremont.

Kim, hope you get 2022 mX soon. I waited 11 months for mS refresh and love every aspect of it, except the tiny horn button. NSHTA needs to force a recall on the unsafe horn button. Given the choice of steering wheels, I would opt for yoke. I would like a variable ratio for parking.

Looks like Tesla is still struggling the build quality from Fremont Manufacturing and poor quality control as we know their tactic is to delivery as many vehicles as possible and let customers worry about it at the delivery centre then fix it after, not the best business practice ! Tesla really needs to up their game

Ouch…! So build issues at delivery still persist with Tesla. A month to fix them! That's truly worrisome. Glad to see the improved interior, however, for customers should get what they're paying for at such an astronomical price. I'm still not sold on yokes. Yes, a steering wheel can get in the way of seeing the binnacle clearly, but I think the ID.4 has a better solution: VW mounts its binnacle ON the steering column so that it remains visible no matter where you position the wheel. Ah, well… this is way out of my league, but I hope you get yours soon, Kim! You have the patience of a saint.

Oddly, it seems to be the S & X that are having finish issues. The Fremont MYs have fantastic build quality as of late last year, if my experience is any indication,.

What I would like to know is what the insurance costs per month. Any insurance company has got to be nervous about a supercar like this. I had a sports car once and it was a nightmare getting insurance even though I had a perfect driving record. Super fast cars are built to go super fast and are driven by people who drive super fast and driving superfast leads to super horrific accidents. The funny thing is a bas low end Tesla is vastly more capable than all the super cars of the 70's and 80's with bikini models leaning against them. Even a Honda Mini van is better in every way than those super cars and they even have a larger back seat area perfect for entertaining bikini models.

Can you answer calls from the steering wheel? Can’t in my Y, but can in our S. Can you control the temp from the steering? I find it very distracting reaching down to adjust it by hand. Onside all the ingenuity it took to create “fart” apps, more controls from the steering would be more appreciated. Now, if someone knows something I need to know…please let me know😉 Also, an irritating thing I found was operating the windshield washer mode. If driver window is open, fluid will come through driver window.

I'd like to know if the cream seats showed just general dirt after use. I don't want to have to clean my car every week and anything will show up on the whites before you clean it. I was hoping the tan might be a little bit better for day to day use.

I took delivery of a new x two weeks ago, and it’s been a nightmare!! Horrible build quality and Tesla service is not helpful. I have to take the car to a body shop so they can fix the errors. The car also drives horrible, bad handing and the yoke is horrible. I recommend not to waste your $$$ on this car.

The manufacturing quality on both S and X is still appalling, no sane European would now order an S and X because those models still come to us from Fremont. 3 and Y on the other hand come to most Europeans countries from Shanghai and Giga Berlin will not be replacing that for a very long time other than Germany where the new factory needs to meet local demand. Personally I do not care about new manufacturing techniques at Brandenburg if anything that may produce teething problems, while the regular MODEL Y and MODEL 3 built in Shanghai is solid and reliable and there is nothing wrong with how it is made or the tech level they offer.
