The average korean man chooses not to marry because of the lack of a house, a good job and money in a country where things are expensive. Even if they do, most choose not to have children. And for those rich men who are straight, they also avoid marriage because in a country where divorce rate is also high, the men lose a lot more through alimony and division of assets. Better to stay single or coupled if raising an expensive child is not in your scheme of things. So it's not even something to be surprised of in a country that has the lowest birth rate.
