Your videos are awesome, I love watching them. Your handwriting is incredible, and you are now reviving my will to improve my own handwriting after almost a decade I've worked on it and settled down. I'd love to watch more videos of this series of you were to make them! :)

I am one of your new subscribers and I got to tell you I LOVE your handwriting! It’s just AMAZING! Please PLEASE upload more of these series, it is my objective to have a handwriting like yours or at least close to it, and vidrios like this is definitely what I need, so please upload more videos like this and show how can I get a Handwringing like yours! Is there any books or something that you recommend?

Excellent! Was going to ask you in previous video about your handwriting. It looked like Spenserian. Much appreciated 👍

If you use reddit, search r/handwriting and click on the about section. There is a free set of online books that can be printed out. But if you want something written in the last few years, master penman Michael Sull has come out with The Art of Cursive Penmanship. It is where I learned my Cursive. Have fun writing.

Sorry to comment on an old video, but I've just discovered your business writing guide here and was wondering if there were any changes you would make to these starter drills for left-handed overhand writers?

I have a super basic question. I am new to fountain pens. I notice you don’t rotate the nib or your hand when you write? Only the paper is rotated?

Looks like a F nib. Is a F nib recommended for these exercises, or could a M nib work?
@awritingguyAWG4 жыл бұрын
ideally the finer the nib the better, but it’s best to work with whatever pens you’re having right now. The effort is what counts - An

What paper is that? Is it a downloadable format? Or is it a notebook of some kind? Thank you
@awritingguyAWG3 жыл бұрын
it’s from a student notebook made here in Vietnam, and they are french ruled like this - An

the first few drills get you used to the motions needed to create the letter forms. I used to write with my fingers more than the whole-arm movements in this video, so I think it’s a good way to introduce a person to this type of motions. - An

@@awritingguyAWG I noticed your fingers do not manipulate the pen in these exercises and the pen is held very lightly. I am studying Mills' "Modern Business Penmanship" and this video is very helpful to see how the beginning exercise are done.
