Awesome little heater that I use in my travel trailer which is 156 sq. ft. Works great with the fan forcing the heat out about 4 ft. away from the heater plug in location. Heats the trailer quickly, then by lowering the temperature on the Unit, it maintains the heat level inside. Like this heater so much that I got another one this week for use in my house kitchen. Bought both on eBay for less than $14 each, including shipping.

I have 2 that I use in the bathroom on separate outlets. My central heat doesn't heat the bathroom very well during the winter, but it does have the GFCI outlets. It does fine as long as you set the heater on low. It pulls less currents than on high and will not trip. Been doing it for 5yrs now.

I bought one for ten buck. I’m heating a 350 square foot room with noticeable amounts of heat increase, at least ten degrees Fahrenheit. Best 10$ I ever spent and at the end of the month I don’t even notice it on the electric bill. It uses next to no energy.

Good review and helpful information. The outlet tyoe restrictions werr something I was wondering about. Fan noisy is definitely not "whisper quiet." I do agree that door being closed makes sense but still, other heaters will have an impact in a smaller srea if you are close to it.

Use your head. Of course the door has to be closed. Max area is 250 square feet. By leaving the door open, you are going beyond that area.

The very reason that items like this are on TV shopping channels is quite simply because they are complete rubbish. Don't waste your money.

Mine only runs for about 1-2 minutes every 20 minutes. Even when it runs, it's hard to feel the heat from even 2 inches away.

Handy Heater works just perfect in a small studio apartment. If you are trying to heat up a single family home please don't be stupid and cheap and get an appropriate heating system. If you have a small space i guaranty it will work just fine and with very low energy consumption. About the 250 sq ft no way, i would say 150 sq ft may be more accurate.

Hiya... HighYa :) The review was great and it covered everything... well almost everything. They advertise that it consumes only pennies a day, which is generally impossible unless they invented some new technology. Whether it costs pennies a day is a MAJOR selling point and it's going to make a big difference to MANY people. You see, the fact that it costs $29.99 (relatively cheap) is irrelevant to the energy consumption cost. If you run the thing 3 to 6 months a year (depending on where you live) energy consumption cost will quickly outweigh the cost of the product. So energy consumption is going to matter much more than product cost for many people. Because it has to be plugged into a wall makes it difficult to test energy consumption, but I GUARANFRICKENTEE (pardon my French) that a MAN could figure it out. So I want you to stand up with all the rest of the women in the world who say that a woman can do anything a man can do, put on your ladyballs and get to work. You'll have to let it run a whole day to get an average of how much it consumes per day, you have to report what the temperature was without the heater and what HandyHeater brought the temp up to so people can compare it to their own conditions. This is the tool you would use: www.degreedays.net/kill-a-watt-meter As you can see, the link I provide is not an affiliate link, so I don't stand to gain anything if you buy that product. Be sure to look at the difference between the cheaper (P4400) and the more expensive model (EZ P4460) because the difference of $7 may save you a lot of time and could be very useful in your review biz. Last but not least, you did such a great job on the review that I will check your review site first when looking for almost anything and I PROMISE I will use your affiliate links.... as long as you get the best prices... because I will shop around, but that is what ALL your followers will do and it will benefit them and result in more CONVERSIONS! Thanks and Happy Reviewing

Heaters are always 100% energy efficient. Anything that consumes electricity releases more than 99.99% of it's energy in heat. Lighbulbs are heaters. Televisions are heaters. The computer is a heater. Running actual heaters is a waste of potentially useful energy that will be made in to heat regardless of how it's used.

This heater is more realistically suited for 100 sq/ft-800 cu/ft like she showed in about a 10x10 closed room. Its fan doesn’t move much air so it needs a smaller closed space that is reasonably insulated. This heater however has 2 serious issues that no one seems to cover. 1. This heater actually has two timer functions. One is set with the timer button, but the other is fixed into the basic programming. This heater will only run for 12 hours after being plugged in. After that you must remove and re-apply the power/cycle the switch, to restart that 12 hour availability, so you cannot leave it to keep a small space at a set temp which would be handy. 2. If the power is removed and re-applied, the heater control circuitry defaults to on and 90 degrees. I got one of these with the plan to use it to keep a stored vehicle above the condensation temperature. The heater was adequate to the task, but the time limit and default to 90F make this impossible and possibly dangerous...

Add to all the other reasons not to buy this, that if you want to use this in a real work environment (commercial business building) you'll probably find that the wall AC plugs (if wired to US codes) are wired upside-down as compared to residential homes. What I'm saying is that this heater will be upside-down. The digital control panel will be pointing towards the floor! :-)

Just look at the box; "Powerful! 350 Watts". That is not powerful, normal heating fans are about 1500-2000 watts and those are considered small, this is just too tiny!

Went to Walmart and bought a 1500 / 750 watt for $14.99, not hot to the touch, plug in to wall with its cord, has 2 speeds, tip over safety switch, and it is very quiet. I am heating a 350-400 sq. ft. room, right now it is 49F out side, and I had to turn it down, too hot. Handy heater and heat buddy are gimmick take your money over priced.....They need all that money to pay for the advertising.....The person reviewing is full of you know what............

Dude, this is tiny heater, you'are testing and reviewing as if it it was a huge heater for large spaces and with the doors open and all lol, the pros and cons aren't even related to what a heater actually it's intended for "heat" for Christ sake. I'm yet to find a descent review of this little heater which I assume it's meant for very small spaces like a small "BATHROOM" (with the door closed). Just wasted three minutes of my life and another writing this.
