I have watched a lot of tool reviews and bag setups, and this is by far the best setup I have ever seen. It also mirrors a lot of the same items I've found in my search of the best items or tools for the job. I noticed you don't have a huge following yet, but the quality of your videos and selection of tools makes me believe this has the potential to become a very large channel. You've made the jump from learning how to use the tools; to mastering skills, and now publishing what I think is one of the best 'EDC' a general handy-man or general contractor could ever have. A few years ago I didn't know as much as I wished about tools, and I always wondered what I could do if I had 'that' tool; now I understand a couple tools with the right user can do just about anything. This tool bag is a perfect reflection of that philosophy. While most of the tools are of high quality and not necessarily cheap; if someone took enough time to understand the purpose and maximize every tool in this kit they could accomplish 80% of any repair or 60-70% of any project they ever wanted to do. If I had any advice for anyone watching this video it would be that if you invested in this exact toolset you would be amazed how to matter what you want to work on, how many jobs you could complete in comfort with this kit. Everyone should subscribe and click that bell! Really looking forward to what content you are able to come up with in the future; what an amazing kickoff to a channel!

Wow man, I really appreciate your words. This bag was the consequence of maybe two or three years of switching out tools, lugging around big set ups, and just noticing what works best for me, while pick up tools that I can get the most use out of.

tool bags and tool selection is not necessarily my forte but I’ve spent enough time working w an electical contracting crew and with some guys that are very adept in this area. Everything you say mirrors what I have had to put together from many different sources over a handful of years loving this. Keep it up!

@@BrandenBraxton hey quick tip for the Packout self opening issue, use heat shrink tubing on the metal latch. They aren't that hard to remove and place back. They'll stay shut and have a better seal.

Those are high quality tools. It looks like you take good care of them. If you want a different topic for a new video, perhaps you could show us the supplies you keep in inventory and take to your jobs. For instance, screw and bolt assortments, electrical crimp terminals, duct/electrical/masking tapes, string, pipe fittings, etc. Thanks for the video.

I cannot recall the last time I commented on a video. However, this one was brilliant. I watched it a few times and took detailed notes and just ordered now everything I didn't have from either amazon or home depot. I have the 15 inch packout so I added a few things like a square, drill bit box, hammer, chisel, crescent wrench, vice grip, and tiny screwdriver set. I have a few packout organisers and I am not sure how to best organize those. Maybe Mr. Braxton can do videos on how to set up organisers for carpentry, and electrical. Thank you.

I love the FastCap 16’ tape measurer. Super durable, has a built in pencil sharpener and little writing pad on the face to jot down quick measurements. Also gives 1/16th measurements on both sides of the tape which has proven much more convenient than I’d even have thought. Great little tool to check out if you’re still interested in trying new tape measures!

Awesome video idea, great video. For the headlamp, I normally wear a ballcap and keep a Streamlight 66608, 250 Lumen, micro usb rechargable flashlight clipped in my pocket. I use the clip to put it on the bill of my cap and it works great. However, it obviously struggles in tight spaces, but I use it as a regular flashlight more than a headlamp, so it offsets the tight spaces con.

@@k2silence True enough but in my experience even when working indoors tools show signs of use in relatively short order. I'm not able to say one way or the other but I can tell you this much- You'll find a whole lot more guys who buy tools that they don't actually use than you will guys who use their tools and keep them looking brand new. I'd say the chances are that this dude spends more time shopping for tools than he does actually working with them.
