I just enjoy your videos so much. Your skill as a pilot and your modesty while narrating these flights are admirable. Wishing you good health and continued safe flying.

Great video and well narrated. And congratulations on your new record, maybe 200 in the next video? 🤓

Thanks Pete! Your videos and flights are an inspiration for me. I'll definitely try for 200 next year on a faster glider.

Another FANTASTIC Upload. Different vibe than the mountains and hills but super peaceful and a nice switch up. I really look forward to your content. The narration great as always. Keep em coming☁☁

Thanks Ant, comments like yours motivate me to make more of those even if I don’t get thousands of viewers.

@@sohamhanggliding of course. I think I pretty much watched all of your videos. I started getting into them because I have a huge fear of heights. And I've been really wanting to try to overcome that. So I stumbled on your channel a couple months ago and subbed instantly. There's something about the way that you film it and do your narration that I find very calming and it helps me to try and appreciate the heights. Not that you have this intention, but you may want to try adding tags or keywords in your titles for like ASMR or unintentional ASMR. Because whether on purpose or by accident your videos do have a very calming vibe that I think other people can appreciate especially if they're also scared of heights. Sorry that's a lot. love your Channel and keep flying 💪

@@antorko7349 Thanks for sharing! I never considered my videos having that effect on viewers, especially ASMR. I will take the suggestion and add the tag to some videos.

Wonderful video, I didn't even know that hang gliding was possible in TX! Can you tell me how you get back to where you started? Do you call an Uber or hitchhike back?
@sohamhangglidingАй бұрын
We always have a dedicated chase driver for events and flights like these. They can track us live on their phones and stay nearby for a quick pickup after we land. But often they are chasing 3-4 pilots at once who may land far from each other, so some of them will have to wait a while (often several hours) before pickup. Hitchhiking has been done on occasion, but then the pilot has to leave the glider behind and come back for it

How far did your buddy in the T3 get?
@sohamhanggliding Жыл бұрын
He made about 150 miles. He was in the air an hour longer and rode the gust front for the last 40 miles.
