I have seen a lot of RC plane flying video, I have never seen anyone fly as good as this guy, I like to see a video, from inside the plane.

Looks like fun, chucking that big thing around the sky! That twin-cylinder engine certainly has power to spare; very impressive!! Cheers, Dougal

I'm about to maiden my Valient with the same engine. After spending the last few months getting to know mine (on the bench) I see a very well engineered design with very thin wood parts. I'm amazed at how much of a thrashing your Valiant can handle in the air. So, you've made no structural modifications to your Valiant? If not, that is somewhat incredible.

Deano sure has found his inner pilot. Some good pilots never get "it" but Deano has found "it" and it shows in his flying. It's been a lot of fun to watch him improve so quickly. The lad has a bright future in the sport (until he becomes faced with the decision of whether to fly or be with his girlfriend lol. Great video g. The plane, engine and pilot made for good video. Thanks for sharing you old dodger. Thumbs G

cheers G, yes the little shite has amazed us all at his ability and humble attitude to his ability, many peeps on the flight lines have warmed to him simply because of his mature attitude and non self importance amongst many many seasoned very skilled designers / builders / flyers (who don't take shit from anyone especially cocky young 3d jocks) so the fact that he listens and learns from these guys has helped him fit in very quickly especially with the older modellers, one very famous older modeller ignored the pair of us on the flight lines for over 4 years until one day deano had his first solo at a big show - when he saw the proof of the pudding so to speak he came over and congratulated the boy "I just thought you were a cameraman - ive never seen anyone fly like that before - hats off to you young man" now we are great friends ! not sure whats gonna happen when he falls for the right girl m8, well cross that bridge when we get to it - lol,

Yes, the FOG's at the field can be a challenge. I think that it helps that Deano will fly scale warbirds just as well as the 3D stuff. Whatever the case, he's a pleasure to watch and I'm sure you're proud.

yes I'm well proud of the sprite, we own a boomerang nano and enjoy flying it (when we can) but deanos about to buy a sport jet powered by a 140 turbine so hopefully well both be jet jockeys soon - lol, hes also looking at a carf models p-51 mustang powered by a 70cc petrol !

Nice set and fly. I have one with a 35RA and 19x8 wood prop. I want to begin fly with flaps and after some google search sessions i put 20% mixed elevons. How much you use to full flaps?

I just bought the New valiant I use with a 35DLE I find it very difficult to Land it even if I wear the flaps on
@tbobborap14 жыл бұрын
why ? what happens cristian
@americanspirit89324 жыл бұрын
Generally speaking when people have trouble Landing they're usually coming in way too hot just slow down the speed and the last minute flare but keep close to the ground when you're coming in for landing if you can and all that and then just decreased throttle and should grease The Landing hope that helps

High power to weight, little dihedral, probably a semi symmetrical wing = decent aerobatics for a trainer
