Love this valiant! WAS gonna order the 10cc stick, BUT i re-learned to fly in the 1.3m eflite valiant, so i think ill get this 1! (Great memories! 👍) I seen ur using a 12x8 prop on 6s. Y not a bigger 13x7 or 14,6? The 10cc stick, ppl r running 16x7 with 6s & BL50 motors. Thanks again and I subscribed! 🛩️🛫

I've always liked high wing fully articulated winged models. I had an over powered Kadet with full house control just for fun fly events. Ever seen 15 touch and go's in a minute with a foam cup holding ten jelly beans. That Valiant would do that task nicely. I miss those days.

@@tbobborap1 It's more of an off to side thing with a lot of yaw. Having to keep the beans in the cup keeps loops out of the tactic .And one does touch the ground at speed so narrow low drag tires and flexy landing gear are a must.

thanks for a great video with specs, i went for 595kv on 6k 4 cell 15x10 prop getting just over 1200 watts@60 amps, maiden was sunday 26th went well i also fitted larger wheels the ones that came in box were way small i think, for flight she likes alot of rudder in the turns i found, did you also find this? also landed with decent head wind and didnt use flaps wish i did cause she carries the speed.

commenting on this video late but do you think it would fly well on 4s with the same motor ESC set up? I'm trying to figure what motor esc combo i want to go with. I have a few 4s 5000 batteries so was wondering if i could get away with a 4cell if not looking for unlimited vertical.

Quite overpowered for good aerobatic performance, but the extra weight of that bigger battery and motor on top of an already heavyish 25oz/sq.ft. trainer is why it’s low speed performance suffers. You can’t have it both ways. Other trainers are closer to 20oz/sq.ft. and can land a lot slower. I have a Boomerang 60 that weighs 3.8kg and has a much bigger wing area so it can land slowly, however it can’t do the aerobatics that your Valiant does. I’m now building a lighter 17oz/sq.ft. Engel Telemaster 71” trainer which hopefully will give me both better aerobatic characteristics and a real floater for slow flying and landing. Similar size to the Valiant but only around 2.5kg and a bigger wing area.

no javier but we put a gps speed logger on my big valiant (dle 40cc flat twin) and she reached 106 mph ! so this one reaches 70mph easily i reckon !
