I just discovered your channel. I love you!!!!! I am a fairly new quilter and I Love your personality and how you keep it real and leave in the mistakes, so that we can learn from them. I have wanted to make this hanging since I started quilting. My mentor and teacher passed away last year and she would have figured this out for me...but thanks to you, I now know what to do. Thank you for the inspiration.

Thanks for the great video. Only question is how did you finish off the inside edges of the open square? Sew 1/4 inch under? Whip stitch edges?did you leave batting in empty square?

I like this version. The first one I'd seen was a log cabin. Both really cute. Can't recall who designed that one.

Annette Hachey Chris Glingman. I can’t find the pattern anywhere anymore. :( I bought it 4 years ago, but only got the title page sent from her (the pattern maker). By the time I went to make the pattern, the website is gone. It looks easy enough, as long as you give credit to the pattern maker.

I love your videos, but the retired Army NCO in me cringes at everything around you! 😂 Would love to see an easy medallion quilt. BTW love the hair cut in the newer videos.

Hi Kay, I try to pre-wash all my fabrics before starting a quilt project so it should be fine. I would also use colour catchers in my laundry.
@busybee96747 жыл бұрын
I dont know if we have colour catches in England I would have to investigate. xx
