Tammy ignore the haters! We love you, your zest for life, and your genuine joy of sharing with others. I believe we are so concerned with germs that we over do it with chemicals. When we were kids we would take picnic lunches and eat it in the edges of the pastures and fields not concerned with a little bit of dirt. We were healthy children and are healthy adults as of today. Tammy, I am older than you and I'm gonna give you some advice I have gleaned throughout my life. DON'T worry about "what they say." I am 67 years old, and I began cooking at 18 as a young bride. YOU BE YOU. I know you know what you are doing. This channel is about us watching you to learn. If someone is watching to criticize and condemn, block them. Get 'em gone. You remind me so much of my MIL who taught me how to cook at 18 when I married her son. She was the best cook I've ever had the pleasure of eating her food. She was a country cook from VA, and law that woman knew how to cook!!! So.....just enjoy making your videos. We all have immune systems. Let them do their jobs. We're all good. Tammy you are doing everything right as far as I have seen. I am an obsessive clean freak and I would eat in your kitchen. Please do not let those negative nellies tell you that you are doing anything wrong. We normal people want to see you cook not explain yourself to individuals that go way over board on cleanliness. We at our age are healthy and were raised on less standards. My grandparents came from Slovakia and they invited anyone and everyone into their home on the farm. They got to eat old recipe cooking. You’re right Tammy, I don’t do any of those things. Those people who criticize you like that probably have no immune system. You are such a sweetheart, and so is Chris. You just continue to do things the way you do. Everyone else will do things the way they want. The first time I ever cut up a chicken, I called my momma and asked her how to do it. She told me to cut it everywhere the chicken bends, so that’s what I did. I got 20 little pieces of chicken out of that one chicken. When I told my momma, she got a real good laugh!

I am so happy to see you are like me in the kitchen because I grew up on southern cooking. I incorporate my healthy cooking style with my daddy’s Texas upbringing. He taught my mother how to cook just like his family did and you. Mother was from a PA farm so she cooked in a different style. Together they knew how to feed all of us. I learned by watching them. I am a visual learner. Love how you teach. Now for the critical ones………. Be open and grateful to listen with your heart not your head. Tammy knows lots of fabulous tips that she is happy to pass on to you. “UTILIZE, DON’T CRITICIZE.” Add to life and enjoy. Try on someone else’s ideas. Take what you need and leave the rest. Oh hell, take it all. This is our “free lunch.” Pass it on.

I agree with you Tammy about touching the garbage can. I remember growing up before my mother opened a veggie can she would wipe the top of the can off. They tell you now don’t wash the chicken before you freeze it or before you cook it. When you do you contaminate everything the chicken comes in contact with. I take paper from a big roll I have and line my sink. When done I just fold everything up and throw it away. I wish I could find split chicken breast on the bone for .99 a pound. It’s been probably 5 years since that’s happened and it was on sale. I use utility scissors to cut my chicken but that board you have is nifty. If I could find something like that I wouldn’t have to use the sink. I like your pan too. My sister Amy and I do our shopping on Saturday so after we go to Aldi we’ll go to Home Goods or Marshall’s, they’re all in the same area. Well, gotta go and watch the rest of your video and make my shopping list. Amy comes early 🛒 Godspeed...

Welcome home Tammy! Just so you know, me, and I know most of your viewers, love you just the way you are! Crazy and all! Let’s face it; we’re all a little CRA CRA! Some more than others LOL! I’ve never in my entire life cooked a whole chicken; so much easier for me to buy it already cut up; but I’m sure, not as flavorful I watched my mom fry chicken sometimes; I know she never was white glove perfect when cooking and dealing with chicken or raw meats; but we never ever got sick. I hope you don't let the mean people get you down. You can't make everyone happy! Some people just feel they have to make rude comments. My daughter and I have a mom/daughter channel, and we sometimes get mean comments on our videos. It's shocking because it's like the people that make those comments seem to do it just for the heck of it. We try to ignore them.

Having known you for only a little over a week...and having binge watched so much of your stuff during that time...I am mortified that ANYONE has sent you a negative comment ever!! I love you Tammy! Yes, I have come a long way since this video and I know longer worry one bit over the negative Nancy's' comments. We just delete them and move on. They are a very small percentage and they don't need to be focused on. Thanks for subbing to our channel Laura!! Great to meet you.
