I’m so glad I found your channel. My mom cooked like you do, but she died when I was a teenager. So I missed out on a lot of cooking instruction among other things. I’m learning so much watching you. Thank you so much !

Tammy that one piece of hair sticking straight up has kept me smiling through the whole show. I was so down with all that's going on. You have totally taught, entertained and made me laugh, thank you. My husband says he's never been bored with me in over 40 years, I believe Chris would say the same thing about you.

Oh yes. Its acceptable. Lol it was a debate with me and my husband. My momma used white Lilly. His momma used southern biscuit. Lol so needless to say I had to buy some and use it. So now whatever I see is cheaper at the time i grab it. He doesn't mind now. Lol just a fond memory. Miss my mother in law.

I thought we were the only ones to talk with such slang! I find myself feeling like my day isn’t complete unless I find one of your videos to watch! Y’all are just a part of my day now. I love you guys. You remind me so much of me and my late husband. Your way of cooking is so much of my own as well as what you cook. I still have to tackle cooking biscuits the way you do. I bought me some white lily flour so I’m getting close….all I need now is the shortening. I have learned quite a bit from you with your little tips that you offer. I seriously don’t know what I will do if y’all ever stop doing your videos!! So don’t stop! Lol

When I was really little, I would ask my dad for a biscuit and “butters and syrups”, that’s what I called it, I don’t know why, lol. He always used Golden Eagle syrup for butters and syrups and Log Cabin for pancakes and waffles. And that man LOVED butter. He hated margarine, he always said if you’re going to take the trouble to make pancakes, don’t put margarine and syrup on them, use real butter on top of your pancakes. We’re coming to y’all’s house for breakfast!!💕💕💕

In my house I'm only cooking for one, so when I make pancakes or waffles I freeze what I don't eat right away. I just put a piece of wax paper between every two pancakes or waffles and freeze them in a ziplock bag. They defrost and reheat well in the microwave. Waffles can be put in the toaster too. Have to be creative when you're cooking for one 😊 Thank you for sharing your biscuit mix with everyone

( I had to have some because my granddaughter wouldn’t eat her sausage gravy without biscuits!!) I didn’t have buttermilk so I found a recipe for baking powder biscuits. They were ok but I’m sure nothing like yours. I’m gonna make your biscuit mix now for sure to keep on hand!! Thank you for sharing!!
