Oh yes. Its acceptable. Lol it was a debate with me and my husband. My momma used white Lilly. His momma used southern biscuit. Lol so needless to say I had to buy some and use it. So now whatever I see is cheaper at the time i grab it. He doesn't mind now. Lol just a fond memory. Miss my mother in law.

When I was really little, I would ask my dad for a biscuit and “butters and syrups”, that’s what I called it, I don’t know why, lol. He always used Golden Eagle syrup for butters and syrups and Log Cabin for pancakes and waffles. And that man LOVED butter. He hated margarine, he always said if you’re going to take the trouble to make pancakes, don’t put margarine and syrup on them, use real butter on top of your pancakes. We’re coming to y’all’s house for breakfast!!💕💕💕

In my house I'm only cooking for one, so when I make pancakes or waffles I freeze what I don't eat right away. I just put a piece of wax paper between every two pancakes or waffles and freeze them in a ziplock bag. They defrost and reheat well in the microwave. Waffles can be put in the toaster too. Have to be creative when you're cooking for one 😊 Thank you for sharing your biscuit mix with everyone
