I now have a deep desire to meet Phil Anselmo and tell him how great of a man he is. He went from an asshole who's got everything to prove, and nothing to lose, to a very well defined, respectable, mature dude. Hats off to yah.

I went in for a handshake and he went total bro hug! I was in such shock and awe, he stood there and talked with me like we had been friends our whole lives. Feeling like I was taking too much of his time, I started to walk away and he grabbed me up for another hug! Best front man ever! Class act, way more gracious than I ever would have expected! Love ya Kid!

I've also been through a lot of shit- abuse,addiction,death,loss and so on but I came back from it all. Much like Phil has so it's been awesome 2 watch him over the years. I'm in pain every single day and his music is one of the few things that helps me through it. I just wish I could personally thank him.

That's my opinion.

Phil Noble How are you doing now mate?
@paulablack18637 жыл бұрын
Phil Noble You can do it! I know you can. I was in the same exact situation as yours and Phil's. Don't get me wrong, the path is hard and some days u will want to give up fully but don't. The sickness isn't the worst part. It's the mental part that takes a year or so to feel "normal" again. But think about it, what's a year outta your whole life. You will start to feel extremely depressed and agitated. Just fight through it and if needed, go to a doctor who can help. NOT one who will prescribe more narcotics. But one who can help with relaxing your muscles, sleep and fighting the dreaded depression that comes with it. You can conquer this, i promise... JUST DON'T GIVE UP! MUCH LOVE TO PHIL!!!!

This is my favorite interview with Phil, it shows how much he has matured over the years and how optimistic he is about life despite all he has been through. Especially after the Heroin addiction, losing Dimebag, and having to carry the burden for that even though he had nothing to do with Dime's murder. Phil is a genuine artist and I got nothing but respect for the man and admire him and his music.

My dad told me about this video, and I didn't think that Phill (screaming, roaring and giving the middle finger) would be doing yoga and talking to ducks. It just goes to show that people can appreciate the good fortune they have had and help the younger bands trying to make a place for themselves. Good on ya Phill.

Thats what I experienced... there was a bunch of guys waiting at the bus in the freezing cold after a DOWN show. At first he quickly passed us and got on the bus, obviously very tired and highly intoxicated. He told us that he was jsut dropping of his stuff and would be out in a minute. I thought he would never ever step out into the cold again to talk to a bunch of dudes, but he actually did! He took his time, talked to every single one, signed stuff and made some fun. Class dude!

It's so awesome to see so many people in the comments saying genuinely good things and really getting to the core of who Phil is. One thing is for sure: he's got a powerful personality, and that is how people need to live their lives - to be an individual, to make up your own mind about things, and to own it and not blame anybody else for your misfortunes. That is why he'd be such a good motivational speaker.
