Hank Snow - I've Been Everywhere + Lyrics

"I've Been Everywhere" was written by Australian country singer Geoff Mack in 1959 and made popular by Lucky Starr, Australian pop and folk singer in 1962. The song listed Australian towns. In the same year, Hank Snow adapted it to American towns and then in 1966 John Hore (known as John Grenell) adapted it for New Zealand with New Zealand’s towns. Many popular singers also recorded this song.

When I first heard this song I said OMG 😲 how is this man singing this song! I've tried to sing it and the only part I can sing while keeping up with him is the main chorus of the song but other than that Hank Snow has turned into the roadrunner and left me! Wish they'd featured this in the Elvis movie to show that Snow could sing fast too. They only showed him singing "A Fool Such as I" and sort of portrays it like Elvis left him in the dust, but as a country artist Snow continued to have big success with travel songs like this and "I'm Movin' On".
