I love this song it is an old time country gospel favorite and I remember they played it at my grandmas funeral. She was like a 2nd. mama to me and Lord, I sure do miss her.Thank you for this beautiful video the Carter family and Johnny were some of her favorites. She use to sing this one around the house and she was a good woman and I learned so much from her. She taught me about God and how to treat people and family.I've tried to remember what she taught me everyday of my life.

I dedicate this song to my mother. She wanted it played at her funeral but I didn't make her request. :( here it is for her now. I love you mama. I can't believe your not on your couch at home. I really miss talking with you. You knew what you were talking about. You really did love me but I didn't know how to love and we both didn't respect each other the way we should have. Your life has been short. And wish I knew how to treat you better n love you. Nothing can bring you back. But I know your watching out for me. I love you mother. I love you so much. I wish I can hug you and never let you go. Hugs and menthol cigarettes..good tunes and Stewie. Hahaha I know why you liked him. He was like me a little shit distruber. So have a smoke for me, cry with me, and sing with me. Pray and send the angels my way to cleanse n clean my soul. Please send a whole army of angels to fix me up. I

No angels can not save or talk to you. But Jesus who died and rose from the dead on the third can and will if only you ask him. Receive Jesus today and be saved. His waiting to hear from you. Today is the day of salvation, after you’re gone it’s too late. It’s a gift of eternal life but to must receive the gift or it’s of no value. Praying you do that now Sheena

When I was a young girl attending Landmark Missionary Baptist Church on Arch Street Pike in Little Rock Arkansas. We were having a revival and I had gone forward at the invitation. My mother requested that this hymn be sung at that time. Such a beautiful memory. My mother died in 1987 but I am assured that the circle will not be broken. All close family members are professing Christians except for one. He is in our prayers nightly and I know a time will come when he will join our circle.
