In fairness the title kind of hinted that we were in for a 6.5 minute advertisement showcasing the lathe in all its glory. Although you would think they would cut out the fancy movie style of filming and actually show the machine doing its many tasks.
@jasenstanbury43054 жыл бұрын
I was always taught you should never leave a load suspended for a single second more then you absolutely need to. Was this trues (30 years ago) with older less well designed equipment and is now an obsolete teaching or was suspending the shaft for "cinematic effect" for so long still considered a dangerous move.

Sorry, I almost never dislike a video, being respectful of the work people put into them, but this video was a waste of time. Seeing the huge but cumbersome tool changer was the best part.

That tailstock moving is like watching a James Bond movie where the Evil guy is going to cut Bond in half with a laser, but the laser is moving so slowly that Bond could easily get free before it cuts him in half.

Vastly more entertaining (such as it is) at 2x speed... music improves 100% too. Still no chips though... wasted effort.

We Americans must have influenced this video as it has shit music and no instructional narration! What a pitiful format! You obviously know what you are doing! Why don't you tell us something about it? The sounds of the machines would be much better than horrible music unless you use the Benny Hill theme!!!
