I’m a 59 year old woman… mother of 4 grown daughters, grandmother to one beautiful granddaughter, and very recent widow. I can tell you one thing for certain- life is EVER changing. My husband of almost 30 years unexpectedly passed away on May 29 while he was out of state on a month long work trip. At 59 I am now reinventing what my life will be going forward.. and it’s all going to be ok .. not only ok , but more than likely it will be beautiful. Because life IS beautiful- even in these most difficult ever-changing times. I’m sending love to all the ladies out there .. at every age and every stage of your life … please know that you are loved, you are seen, and you’re an integral part of this wonderful world.

This isn’t hate, just a personal criticism of this episode. I love Mari. And I love Hannah. But I felt like this episode was random in the theme of what I usually want to listen to on pursuit of wellness. I go to this podcast because I enjoy the wellness forward topics with Dr’s and experts. And when I want comedy or lifestyle type or pod I would listen to Giggly squad. There’s no way to say this without feeling like it’s coming off as hate I just didn’t really enjoy this episode. I like to feel like I’m learning something about health and fitness and in the realm. But this podcast just felt like an interview with a famous person which I feel like you can get that with any other podcast. this podcast just felt very off brand for POW. Idk.

Then you're missing the meaning of wellness as a whole. Laughter, joy, and happiness are a part of wellness(as Hannah stats in the beginning)
