Not sure if you’d see this -- I’d love to chat! I am a dv and family law advocate. I had to leave social media because the entire DV community has become “buy my course, book and 1:1”. These are UNTRAINED, UNEDUCATED content creators. I run a REAL nonprofit and we provide FREE 100% free services and classes. I had a client who was unfortunately unalived because she gave 5k to a “dv coach” who told her to just “leave”. I can’t even get into how dangerous that is. I’ve been working on a series but I’d be happy to pass the idea and footage off to someone who could get it out there! I don’t have a huge following because I make occasional videos about the ludicrous DV industry. I’d definitely love to chat!

Kind of the same idea I guess? I leave comments telling people I can get them started for FREE with like a paragraph of pointers. The people selling don't know ANYthing, as I see wrong info right away. For example, I saw an "herbalist's" post saying "Why don't we plant fruit trees on the sides of the road for homeless people to eat for free!?" The reason is you don't eat from the side of the road. Car tires and cars themselves leave TONS of toxins. Anyone who has ever foraged or studied plants knows this, it's a main point when you get started...where NOT to go looking for food and medicine LOL. They gets tons of clicks, meanwhile little ol me has like five followers lmao!!!

Asbestos litigation paralegal here!! I don’t know how old that woman’s husband is but the latency period for mesothelioma is 30-50 years (meaning it can take 30-50 years to develop after exposure). Assuming he’s young, it is likely that he got secondhand exposure as a kid. Let’s say one of his parents was a carpenter or electrician and was redoing drywall in an old building or something. That parent probably came home with fibers in their clothes and he probably inhaled them. We see this all the time actually. Is it sad and tragic? Yes. Is it the result of “unclean” household and personal items? Unlikely. I hope they find peace and healing some other way because Monat certainly will not give that to them.

@@maryeckel9682 not often. It’s usually people who worked in specific industries or locations or were members of a union. Or it’s a spouse/child whose spouse/parent worked in a specific industry and they’re alleging secondhand exposure. So it’s usually pretty clear. What usually happens is 50-60 defendants get named and then through the course of discovery most defendants will be let out of the case. By the end there’s usually only a handful or even 1-2 left. But I has to be done that way because more often than not the plaintiff won’t live to see the end of the case so they have to throw stuff at the wall to see what will stick while they’re still alive.

Oh, and if it’s a bite, especially a human one you’re best to be seen and take some antibiotics. Human bites are absolutely the worst, far worse than a dog bite. The bite video made me sick to the stomach. For context; I'm a herbalist. I make whole plant-based completely natural remedies in my kitchen for my family and friends. You can use natural plantbased ointments to help heal a wound: arnica, calendula, and comfrey are the classics. HOWEVER, you use these in extracts from the whole plant (meaning, you extract the active compounds into a base oil like castor or olive by using heat) and thicken that to an ointment consistency with beeswax. You never put pure essential oils on an open wound, because of potency and concentration issues that can irritate healthy skin - let alone broken skin. And most importantly, you do not apply any kind of ointment before thoroughly disinfecting the wound - at every application - and redress the injury. Essential oil bottles are not sterile, people. There is also no grounds for using the oils that they did. Yes, tee tree is anti microbial, congrats. But not sufficiently to disinfect a wound, and it contains other irritants that will make the injury worse (namely the active compounds in this case. Its not meant to be used on broken skin at all). I also question whether they followed proper protocol in handwashing when treating the wound and dressed it adequately. Because yes, that looks infected to me.

Also, i love herbal medice when done correctly, but human bites are super dangerous and likely to get seriously infected. So while I think herbal remedies *could* treat an injury like this, I think this is walking the line of "you need to go to urgent care and get antibiotics". Sepsis is *Life Threatening*
@hannemalkorf97026 ай бұрын
@@elliotmydude absolutely. A lot of my comment ended up being about wound treatment in a general sense. When it comes to bites? See a doctor. Human or animal - because of things like hepatitis, sepsis, how lonf ago did that child eat something or brush his teeth?, etc. Herbal medicine is great, but acute medicine is necessary.

Ones like the first one make me so angry. As someone who is struggling financially, I first of all call cap on those numbers. There is no way. Second, it’s DISGUSTING how this tactic WORKS. As I said, we’re struggling, and I would never buy into something like this, but whenever I hear clips like this, a small part of my brain just _hopes_ against hope that maybe it’s not a lie. What if it was true, what if I’m missing out on relief for our situation? And then I just get angry they make anyone hope this way. 😢

The prices are 3000-3500 euro’s for 10 week course. Thanks to your video’s I know these are also tactics that MLM also uses. One of my friends used to work for an MLM. It is still a popular business in Canada, but my friend no longer works for them. She had also challenged herself to win one of the reward trips for top sellers. She succeeded and won an all-inclusive trip for two to Africa. It was an incredible experience, and she loved every incredible moment of it. However, when she did her taxes the following year, the trip was considered income and not a reward gift. She ended up owing a lot of money back in taxes. Money that she didn't actually have because it was used for this trip and not received as income. So she essentially paid for her own all-inclusive trip, even though the company pitched it as a reward.
