@HolldollMcG Also FAFSA. And grants. And money from loved ones, if they're able to help. Also also, you start saving for a kids college fund when they're young. You don't drop thousands of dollars into a piggy bank, you start setting aside...preferably before they're even born, to get the most out of it. And college fund accounts I believe accumulate interest too. So it's not even a matter of being rich, it's a matter of if your parents thought of it.

Growing up in LA, I'd see plenty of that and worse (still see plenty of it) and it legit makes me so angry and scared. I knew a kid who literally DIED right up the street from where I lived because the driver who hit him was texting (he was on his bike). The memorial where he died is still there. This was all just before my senior year of hs (he would've been a junior). He died and I KNOW the woman who hit him felt truly horrible (she tried to talk to guy's family and friends and tried to apologize... I'm sure you can imagine it didn't go well). Not only are you putting your life and others lives at risk if your rambling about your MLM on social media, but if, God forbid you DO hit and injure/cost someone their life, you'll carry that weight. I know I'm a little late to the party, but as a childhood trauma survivor, I fully agree with what you say about using trauma stories to manipulate people. You're not invalidating anyone's experience - you're pointing out that they're being toxic. I was emotionally abused by my parent, who also had a crappy childhood of their own, and they LOVE throwing pity parties for themselves about it. Do I have empathy for their pain? Yes. But that doesn't make the abuse THEY perpetrate better. In fact, it almost makes it worse - they know how bad it can be, but instead of doing work to heal, they passed the pain down to the next generation. Same thing with the MLM hon. She's meeting manipulated (and maybe retraumatized) by the company, which sucks, but she's trying to do the same thing to others, which is FAR from okay. Your channel is awesome

I recently discovered through my first big girl job that you don't make the same every month. No one tells you this, but multiple months out of the year you get 3 week checks. This happens 4 times this year. That's an extra 4 weeks of pay you didn't budget for so it’s extra income. Additionally you get bonuses. I got a a 6 month bonus of $1200 and I work in social services. I'm also expecting one near Christmas.

I mean… it’s not “extra” if you take your annual salary and divide by 52 weeks, or by 12 months.

I literally just binged this video in one cleaning session… so much fur and so many old webs vacuumed up… not to mention the copious amounts of hair that normally falls off my head (which somehow magically stays thick and voluminous; I don’t need a hair product for any of that)… and I do not regret it! I just did almost two hours’ worth of cleaning in less than one. Woo!

I got a letter from CutCo my freshman semester of college. It was so slimy. Basically no explanation of the business, barely mentions what they’re selling, they were labeled as Vector Marketing or something like that. Immediately sent pics of the letter and warnings to everyone I knew that started college with me :/

First and most importantly, I love that you let your fur babies join as they see fit! Second, I sure hope these flimsy illogical arguments don't work on people. Like that one that did the comparisons to an organization chart. How did she not notice that she will never be the CEO of her MLM? That it is not an option in an MLM in any manner? The one where she was startled by her child at the playground - SCARY!!! Things can happen and you should not take your eyes off your child!

I was literally about to say this? I don’t know about the US but I’m on £43,000 a year and I’ve saved £10,000 in two years for a house deposit. It won’t be the same for everyone of course, but having a stable income makes it easy for me to save because I know what’s coming in so I know what I can save.

It's so weird to me when MLM reps talk about how hard it is to become a CEO or *insert very high up job position here* in a non-mlm company...as if becoming a CEO is everyone's goal and it's unfair that most people will never be a CEO of something, and being a CEO is the only job that matters?

I love your take on recruitment as a never ending rat race of Huns trying desperately to not be on the bottom. It just shows that they DO understand the structure and point of the MLM. They can pretend like they don’t get it. They can act like they don’t know that they’re in a pyramid scheme but their actions prove it. They know that being on the bottom means they’re losing and they need to pack their downline to avoid losing.

New to the channel and I love it! For me personally, I struggle with some guilt for having to work outside the home and I think that is what the huns exploit at times. “You need multiple streams of income, that’s how millionaires and multi millionaires got that way” ok yeah, definitely wise. But then why do you convince everyone in your down line to quit their jobs, have their husbands quit their job, and devote all their time and money into the MLM… Guess you don’t actually want people to become millionaires, you just want them to boost you up higher on your attempt to make a million dollars

I'm only into the first story, but I wanted to thank you for pointing out using your phone while driving. Not many people do for some reason. A couple years ago, my husband and I got into a very serious car accident (I was the driver but not at fault; the person merged into my lane on the freeway, forcing me to swerve into the barrier at 65+mph) and car safety has been a big issue for me since. I ended up with permanent damage on my dominant hand (had surgery, but unfortunately not everything could be fixed) and a first degree burn because the damn car caught on fire (it was a BAD accident). That person? Just not paying attention to where they're driving, and according to one witness was on their phone. They took off and we haven't been able to find them but I hope they feel shame every time they look in the mirror because there's NO WAY that you look at that car accident and think that everyone survived... it's incredible we did. When my MiL and SiL came to get us, they were looking on the ground because they expected us to be laying down; they were shocked we were standing. Just thinking that there's a chance this person was doing something very similar to what these MLM huns do makes me pissed off. Our kids were almost left orphans because of that person. Please... be careful while driving. And wear your seatbelts - I 100% credit our survival to the seatbelts. The seatbelt tore off several layers of skin and I still have a scar because of it, but it's still much more worth it to be scarred than ground up on the asphalt (sorry).

“Stop caring about what people say if you don’t even want to be like them.” Um ok. I had a counselor who made a bigger impact on my life than probably anyone I’ve ever met. I’ll forever be in debt to that woman for how she helped me at one of the lowest points in my life, but I don’t want to be her. I don’t want to trade her lives or have all the things she has. I want to be like me, she was there to help me be more like myself, not more like her. That’s real help.
