I'm a tradesman, and although I sometimes cringe and scream "NOOOOOOOO" at the screen, I can't help but be impressed with your cojones. You get in there and have a go at everything. It may not be perfect, or how it should be done, but YOU did it and you are proud of what you have achieved and so you should be. BUT, being an Electrician, please, PLEASE get an expert to fix your wiring upstairs. That cabling is not safe and is not designed to be swinging in the breeze. It is most likely solid cable and not flexible ... it could fail.

I love that you are building a company that doesn't necessarily need you to be a YTer forever. It's really wonderful to have witnessed so much growth and consciousness about being influential to others, without being an "influencer," if that makes sense. To see someone set and achieve goals, including going through the learning process it takes, is the type of role model everyone needs. Go, Hannah! ♥️

In a world full of dystopian and bland cookie cutter homes, your house and cabins are such a breath of fresh air. From different paint colors, to lots of textures and decor with a story to tell you have really made it feel homey. Not everyone can accomplish that. For a lot of my life I lived in my parent’s house they built in 2006. It was extremely well built, to the point where there was no quirks, no variation. Everything is just so “normal”. And when comparing it to my grandma’s old farmhouse, an old shack they bought in around 1954 and added onto multiple times to make it what it is now; that is what feels more like home to me and what I desire and am drawn to. Soon, God willing, I’ll be moving to my own old farm house too. :) very excited

Hey, Hannah! I found your videos on May 17th this year, (my birthday) when I was absolutely spiralling on my bed at 5 am, in the midst of a panic attack. I picked up my phone to try to find something I could distract myself with and KZbin randomly recommended me your channel. Not only did your videos calm me down and make me smile, but they got me hopeful, once again, for a future in which I live in a little cottage in the middle of the woods, happy and alone. You are an absolutely beautiful presence, you inspire and bring comfort to so many. Never stop doing what you do, you make all of us feel good and confident in our own skin. Thank you a million times. ✨✨

I found her back in her Walter days and getting tips for setting up my own Rig for camping adventures. But then we moved off grid with our timing together. I was devastated then too though because that was a big chapter I enjoyed. Yet here we are, she’s always a step ahead of me in my simiar rackets and always the inspiration I need, aka. kick in the @$$, to get started. She bought the cabins and started these huge projects and showed me I could too. Now she's in the homestead and it's just gorgeous. She was brave and put her whole life on the internet for others to see and I thought, "so can I," and so I did! I can't wait for my own spaces to feel like this. What a great stroll down memory lane. You’ve done such a great job. You’ve certainly inspired me, a month away from 40, to follow my dreams and heal my wounds once and for all. My goal by 40 was to get out of a toxic, abusive relationship and start putting me first. And I’ve done that and then some. Including cut out my family as well, unfortunately, but I’m much happier without the hot and cold of those relationships too. I was always giving far more than I was receiving, and it needed to change. I needed to change it. Took me several years of watching your adventures (started right before you bought the other cabin) to finally embrace the nomad life, and the life that I truly want for myself. I’m a month in, and as life goes it hasn’t gone exactly to plan. Car trouble and bad weather forced me to stay in a hotel the first week of May and pretty much depleted by entire budget for the month. So I spent May in the city, selling more of my stuff, out of my storage unit, to eat and pay for gas, but it also gave me time to really get over the nerves of living in my car. Not the way to wanted to start off, I would rather be in the mountains camping. But I truly believe everything happens for a reason. Anyways, I plan to have my own piece of land one day. But in the meantime, I can’t wait to upgrade to a bigger vehicle for more headroom, etc. It’s so true what they say that there is never a perfect time. Just have to live life and work through stuff as it comes along. Thank you for being such an incredible inspiration. Watching you grow has really helped me to embrace my strengths as well, including also having ADHD. It’s a pain a lot of the time, as you know, but I wouldn’t change my creative spirit and I-can-do-anything attitude. All the best enjoying all your hard work! Take good care of yourself. ❤

Hi Hannah! This is a really fun video and a good reminder for all for all of us too of all the work that you've put in. I love that you are not afraid to dive in and try things that you've never done. That's exactly how I have remodeled and repaired so much of my own home and it's taken me years too. Please please please, consider actually building a throne around your throne! You can get an old twin bed frame or old kitchen table legs or something like that and make it look like an actual throne. I think that would be such a cool and odd conversational piece since it already is and you can't avoid the conversation about the raised toilet. So do something fun that complements all the beautiful antique pieces you have in your home and that will be a project. You will absolutely love puzzling together! Keep up all the great work. This is the first time ive ever seen your videos and im truly impressed. Your home is so cozy and perfectly useful, it makes me consider what id like from a home in the future. Well done!! Feels the most like a home that ive ever seen from a renovation.

I’m so proud of you and love how beautiful you’ve made this space. You don’t need to defend your decisions, if people are offended by you changing a space to suit your needs, they are the problem 🙃

This tour has inspired me so much! I'm hoping to buy my grandparents land from them. They've been on their farm for 50 years, so it feels like home to me. And I don't want our family to lose it once they're gone. It was priced out with the assumption that the home would be demolished because it's so old and not in the best of shape. The exterior looks a lot like yours. I think if I can get a contractor that tells me the foundation is salvageable I'll try to restore the home. Your home is breathtaking.

Painting tip. Start in the air then hit whatever surface you're going to hit and follow it all the way to the end and come back. Overlapping buy a third at least. If not by half

I am currently saving up to move to the mountains here in Catalonia and I have to say this is so far the closest idea to what my dresm house would look like. Thank you for making it into a real tangible thing so that I can build up the vision board in my head!!!
