I just bought the Drunk Elephant blush and I love it, but Hannah I don't think you would like it. The color is sort of goldy imo, and also it's very much supposed to be a makeup/skincare hybrid so it's super sheer. I haven't tried because I like the sheer look but I don't think you would be able to really build the color up at all. DE recommends mixing it in with a serum or sunscreen and putting it all over your face so again it's meant to be pretty subtle

I just bought some of the Lethal Cosmetics palettes. I bought a build-your-own 9 pan and 6 pan. There are some shadows I love and some that I feel kinda so-so about. Some of the mattes are pigmented and some are sheer to buildable. Some of the shimmers are stunning and some are flaky and end up looking kinda chunky and patchy. If you get the good shades they're so much fun.

OKAY. first of all the lipstick color you are wearing in this video is absolutely gorgeous! it reminds me of a lipstick i adored and used (quite literally) every little bit of when i was in high school, only with a little more terracotta-y brown and less pink. i ADORE it. also i would be incredibly interested in a lethal cosmetics review, and that maybelline product as well! im not nearly as interested in the drunk elephant release honestly, but the other two i would drop EVERYTHING to watch

I have tried Lethal. A number of people I watch get Lethal PR so I get some access to reviews, but of course I'm always ready to hear your take. My personal experience was that the shadows, particularly the mattes, are very high pigment/high impact and they need a light hand to make them work. That isn't my favorite formula, but they have such beautiful and unique colors that I haven't seen anywhere else that I'm willing to take the extra time. I love making build your own palettes online and not buying them. That is classic deferment that really works for me. :D

I love lethal cosmetics 💖 the shadows are very soft and nicely pigmented... therefore they don't layer very well, I would recommend (if you are going for darker, dramatic looks) start with the darkest colour. soft and blown out looks are so easy and effortless, it's the best formula for one and done eyeshadow looks. so far I haven't had a bad experience with the brand.

I would love to see a Lethal Cosmetics self-sponsored review! Here's my experience with the brand: Pros: superb CS, clear vision and brand identity, inclusive and diverse releases, lovely matte formula. Cons: the colours on the site are more vivid/more differentiation between certain shades on the site than in person, powdery mattes, certain shimmers are more satins than anything else (since the Dreamsign collection the shimmers have become more sparkly however). Context: 21 shadows bought in 2019, haven't bought anything since, so perhaps there have been improvements made, which wouldn't surprise me!

Lethal Cosmetics are GREAT, they have perfected their foiled shadows so much in the last year, they have this wonderful brass colour called Symbiosis, its the best and shiniest gold eyeshadow I have. The matte shadows blend very nicely. Also their lipglosses are BOMB, very nourishing, smell like vanilla but not in a sickeningly sweet way, and the opaque ones are not milky at all. The lipgloss in paradox and nova are wonderful, they dont settle in the liplines at all and the lipgloss in the colour "everything" is the most wonderful peach with golden shimmer. I have tried their black liquid lipstick and it is a very thin satin finish with great colour but it smells like the green part of a tomato plant wich is odd :D

I absolutely love the lethal formula, the mattes and shimmers are gorgeous and i definitely feel like you can get a multidimensional look with just one or two shadows. the blushes are v good too but are all powder and are pretty bright so i’m not sure it’s as much your jam.

The Lethal mattes are one of my favourite formulas in my entire collection. Their metallics are great too, but in a collection of Clionadh, Terra Moons, JD Glow, etc., they are just great metallics. Their highlighters and gel liners are amazing. I love their blush and bronzer formula and it is my favourite powder cheek formula ever, which as someone with extremely dry skin who prefers cream products is saying something. Although I'm not sure you would get much use out of the colours available. *edit* I do want to add incase someone likes bronzer and is similarly complected to Hannah and therefore has a hard time finding a shade that works for them; I also use the Nars Chantilly concealer and both of the lightest shades of the bronzer work for me. I can also use Quicksand (the 3rd lightest) with a light hand and it's not awkwardly warm.

Lethal mattes are one of my absolute favorites! If you do decide to try it, Camera Ready Cosmetics is carrying Lethal now so shipping would be a lot easier. Only downside is, I don’t think they have every shade.

The Lethal Cosmetics mattes are absolutely amazing. Like literally blend themselves out. I have the shades Imago, Loom and Frantic and they are among my favorite neutral mattes!!! The shimmers are good, they have great shades that are super in right now, but the formula is nothing to write home about...most shimmers aren't though IMO. Once you've had Shine by SD and Clionadh shimmers, everything after just seems subpar LOL

I feel like my opinion on their eyeshadows is quite unpopular, I don't like their mattes because they don't layer well with any of the other matte eyeshadow formulas in my collection. The Artist Couture palette strongly reminds me of ABH Sultry. Neutral with a pop of peach. It's pretty, but I don't think anyone needs it. Not if you own any eyeshadow at all already.

I feel like the Drunk Elephant blush is beautiful but also it comes in a singular shade of light/medium peachy pink, and that's abysmal. I don't think it'd show up on anybody deeper than tan. Honestly I wouldn't support it on that basis alone. I don't want to give my money to brands who aren't releasing products that most or all of us can use. Not that I'm buying a $36 blush right now anyhow! But if I were, I'd buy another Rituel De Fille creme pigment!

I’m a perfume addict, and I love bottles but her perfume, cloud (ugliest ever bottle) smells so good that I am seriously tempted and have heard that all of her scents are good. It’s really interesting because the perfume community has some snobs and her perfumes with their tacky bottles keep making it into very fancy collections.

As a long time fringe-/bangs-wearer, I have also done the asymmetrical fringe a time or two, but not for a good 15 years or so. I am not really a finger-on-the-pulse kind of person (much more head in the clouds/thumb up my arse, if you'll forgive a slightly vulgar turn of phrase), so any resemblance to anything that has ever been, or will ever be remotely trendy was purely accidental (and in any case it happened at a time that was too long ago to qualify as any kind of prescience, and far more likely to have been late to an earlier party than early to a later one). But it is a thing I have done. That being said, I feel like I've done almost every kind of forehead-covering (as opposed to side-fringe styles like the curtain thing, etc) fringe there is, at one time or another: from baby bangs to eyebrow-skimming, layered/single-length, solid/blunt or choppy/wispy, thick or thin, straight across/shorter in the middle/longer in the middle/asymmetrical, etc. I've kind of settled on one (or a very small selection of very slight variations) that fits me best in terms of my style preferences (whether it's the most flattering style for my face, I couldn't say, but it's the one I like best), so I don't really deviate far from that anymore (I just change the colour instead), but if I ever get bored with it, I have no problem trying something else. Fringes grow out quickly (in terms of being able to turn it into a slightly different fringe, I mean), so even if I hate it, it won't be long until I can return it to something I know I like. (Apparently, I'm doing TED talks today, too?)

I've bought a pink sparkly eyeshadow from Lethal and didn't check the swatches online before that. In person it looked like pink with green sparkle. When I put it on my eyelids it becomes green and I'm confused 😅 The formula is very nice though.

For someone with as much experience, Temptalia did a bad job creating those palettes as well as with the product shots. I'm sure the shadows individually are great, but as palettes they are too dark, too similar and overall too unappealing, especially when photographed together.

I think they're pretty when I look at the individual palettes. Personally I love grungy deep colors. However, they're VERY similar and when I look at the full release, my brain thinks I'm looking at 6 of the same palette. I don't feel like each palette (or palette set of light and deep) had a vision and concept separate from the others. My brain definitely sees them as all the same no matter how long I look.

The temptalia collab was really underwhelming. The three palettes look so similar to each other that it really could have been 1 16-pan or something.
