In terms of “how can Hans work with Kramnik”, I think Hans was very real when Danya asked him in that second SCC interview: He’s not comfortable with Kramnik’s crusade, but Kramnik has also been a good friend and done a lot for him. Kramnik is still a world class coach and theoretician and has clearly been a good influence on Hans’s game - even his SCC meltdown had a FIDE performance rating of 2754 for blitz. Sometimes relationships are complicated.
@The_LightlessАй бұрын
I didn’t watch the interviews but it’s pretty easy to deduce the situation is probably something like this. I don’t think any high rated chess player is comfortable with Kramnik’s crusade, let alone Hans after his debacle with Magnus.

How is the knight not actually hanging in the First kramnik game at 4:46?
@mental_papaya9588Ай бұрын
The rook would be left undefended
@murakitaАй бұрын
It is hanging😢 probably thats why Levy isnt a GM😅
@SouthernChessSpiritАй бұрын
If Rxh4, and then white plays Rxf6, then black can play Kxg7, black would get a rook for a knight, which is a better trade.
@blom8241Ай бұрын
Because if rook takes he can take the bishop and be defended by the pawn (which would also be near promoting if a rook trade happens)

Maybe if you say all these players are cheating - even if you beat them - it distracts from the actual cheater. SOmeone in a relationship is always accusing someone of cheating based on nothing- that someone is probably the one doing the cheating.

For the past 18 years, there are only two huge cheating scandals, one involves Kramnik being a cheater and the other - Hans. Now that is soo f****ng ironic! 😀😀
