So I understand the need to up the budget from $25 to $50, but you can very much see the impact that slight uptick in budget can have on card options. This is an absolute monster of a deck, I have also learned of several cards I need to add to my own personal Hapatra. Also, it's important to note that with Flourishing Defenses and Nest of Scarabs, you get a trigger for each counter placed on creatures, so it is slightly different from Hapatra's ability, which gives one trigger no matter how many counters are placed on a single creature.

What is also nice as a massive finisher is End-Raze Forerunners and/or Beastmaster Ascension. Of course, Craterhoof Behemoth would be better still, but since that'd blow the entire budget in one go, I doubt it's that much better...

There’s gotta be an itch once in a while where you want to build a deck without budget restrictions, it doesn’t mean you build with only expensive cards, but surely there’s a commander you love in particular that you love a particular build you love. Your formatting of 10 tactics would be sweet to see on a deck that’s a labor of love. I submit to you a new potential series: Budget Non-Cents where you present a deck you love where budget isn’t factored, though could be encouraged. Another reasonable upgrade is Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. You can sacrifice a Snake, draw a card, and put a -1/-1 counter on another creature. With a drain effect like Blood Artist or Falkenrath Noble, this lets you draw a ton of cards and wipe your opponents boards! Plus, he can proliferate as well, creating even more Snake tokens. I guess this begs the question, what are your criteria for reasonable upgrades? Yawgmoth seems like a very easy inclusion on the RU section and is still only about $15 at the time of this video. Could you give us some insight into how you decide what you should or shouldn't include?

My thought was to augment this with various Infectors. Infect gives you another source of -1/-1 counters as well as an alternate win condition. Yeah, no one likes Infect in Commander, but it's still a valid way to play, and Golgari has a fair few cards that can inflict it.

I always wonder while watching your dechtechs how much removal/board wipes your playgroup plays. Granted I play on a higher budget for most of my decks (100-ish dollars), but I had a Hapatra deck for a long time (a year or so) and it never worked. Trust me I really tried to make it work and went through a lot of versions. Usually, I was either stuck with a hand full of cards that didn't do anything without my commander or played a bunch of good cards and had little use for her. The main problem was the fact that as soon as I became a threat my opponents used their removal to keep me off my general. I even tried similar strat to what you do (playing cards to protect my commander - Golgari Charm, Heroic Intervention, Boots...), but that ended up also being bad since I then didn't have enough cards to advance my board state. Is this something you encounter or is your group just lighter on removal then my is?

At one point you said put 2 -1/-1 counters on A creature and make 2 snakes... I believe you'd get 1 snake as it says on Hapatra "Whenever you put one OR MORE -1/-1 counters on a creature, create A 1/1 green Snake creature token with deathtouch." Gatherer does state if multiple creatures are targets, you get one for each creature targeted. Otherwise if you were to get 2 it would need to read like Nest of Scarabs or Flourishing Defenses (being slightly different worded versions of the same ability.) I do appreciate this deck tech, checking out what you did verse what I did and see if there are any good changes I could use. I like the -1/-1 counter on my creature to kill a creature, I'm not sure how I missed that one and I was looking through my cards and saw a Biskelion, just hadn't had a chance to put it in yet. I'd also like to add in my first card to my Hapatra deck which was Corrosive Mentor "Black creatures you control have wither." $1.03 on TCGplayer 07Jan2020.

Season is 30+ and comes down fairly late. Yes, it doubles your counters and therefore trchnically quadruples your tokens, but it's also super easily dealt with. Parallel lives is nice and more reasonable overall. For potential mill you have Altar of the Brood sitting at around 4$. Blasting station actually sounds sweet, I'd play it. I can't think of any right now, but there's probably a few more infinites I'm not seeing.
