on these locks can the exterior knob be turned counterclockwise or clockwise or only clockwise?

Just finished replacing a 3 door access system. Their old system failed due to an electrical storm. Long story short, we ran new wire and all new hardware.

Sooooo, this is handy, I have (3) of these on my couch right now. The one on the door at the Fire Hall does not have a Key Bypass. I'm trying to figure out how to remove / replace the cylinder on these so I can install at the Fire Hall. I can't use the existing cylinder as it is a restricted keyway that I can't get blanks for. On to the Next Video.

Don'z Lockz I’m still a little sore from last Sunday. Raked for 4 hours 🙄 we have a infuriating (yet really pretty) tree in our front yard that like to shake off all it’s dead leaves every year :(

Last company I worke for had an electronic version of that type of lock. It stopped working and a locksmith wanted 300 dollars to repair it. I changed the 4 AA batteries and it worked quite well for another two years, then the batteries needed to be replaced again. Saved 295 dollars every year. Why are some locksmiths such damn crooks?

D Sloop unfortunately there are so many out there and new ones pop up every few months. I’m actually actively reporting all incidents we are told about here to local law enforcement & they are already on alert for several people. From there we are going to push it into higher authority. On the battery note, that’s the first thing we ask when we get those calls (did you change battery) & try to assist people over the phone on how to replace batteries in whatever unit they have. I dislike having to charge people for easy diy but even then it would be less than 100

Jeepster mario not the knob style but there is a lever handle variant (not all levers) that yes can be opened easily with even a smaller magnet. I’ll go over that whenever I do the return spring replace video :)

SE Lock and Key thanks for the reply separating the two on which can and cannot be bypassed by the magnet attack would be of great help, off topic did you recently address the citric smell of Houdini did I miss that episode. Ninja edit ) Dan fat fingers
