Yea they are pretty cool no batteries! Note do NOT get the bypass feature like the one shown in this video. It is just a real pain in the a$$. I ended up disabling it on all the ones I have installed beacuse it kept getting stuck open. Other than that they are great little Locks.

on outside button side you cant. on inside depress detent and relese knob.

So, I definitely should have paid more attention. Your latch is hanging 3/8" out of the "door", which would keep it from even closing...which is the problem I now have. You need to mention the backset, instead of glossing over that with the old "standard doors are ready for this lock".

Sounds like user error to me...... if you don't know to measure for backset, you should enter be installing anything. Live, learn
