I loved this episode!! I did raise an eyebrow though when you said you look to zodiac signs to see why we behave the way we do? Idk maybe I heard it wrong. But I think we should be careful in that regard. I don’t think God made stars for us to say ohh I’m a Virgo that’s why i like to be organized. I think it’s cool and interesting but I think we should look to JESUS ONLY to tell us why we are the way we are and how He made us. I just wanted to share that but thank you so much for all you do. This podcast blesses me so much❤️

This verse set me free from people pleasing: Galatians 1:10 “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

I was having a hard time with people pleasing and I just got to read this Bible verse this morning, it's from the book of Ecclesiastes 7:21-22, it says, Do not pay attention to every word people say, or you may hear your servant cursing you- 22 for you know in your heart that many times you yourself have cursed others. We cannot control what people think about us, that's too much stress and not worth your energy, but what we can do is to seek God and seek to please Him only. This episode was amazing! Got to learn a lot of stuff. May God bless you sis. Your channel has really helped me to grow, especially in this season where I'm kinda humbled by the things I'm facing🙏❤

I love this whole podcast episode and I’ve been thinking about some of the stuff you’ve been talking about as well ESPECIALLY the last point because I’ve noticed how many Christians do not display the fruit of the Spirit and it concerns me greatly because we need *TRUTH AND LOVE*

I've been living alone for a year and a half now and I can relate to what you said about living alone and not being alone for a long season. Thankfully I have my Life Group, church, family, and friends that I still see at least once a week, but I still find it's not enough. I'm trying to figure out how long I want to live alone and what I should do in the future since my current place is only 1 bed/1 bath

Same situation as you but I never feel lonely. I volunteer once a week in my community at a non-profit and will host a coworker or friend once a week for a meal and catch up! :)

I love your podcast and have taken so much from it, but I do want to say that it’s worth looking into the roots of the enneagram test! I recently started studying it and have been wildly convicted about following it! Since it’s used as a resource so often in the church, I thought it was harmless, but there’s a podcast called “Is the enneagram a Trojan horse in the church” by alisa childers that changed everything for me. It’s a great resource! ❤❤❤

Something that I’ve come to know more & more about the “Christian community” is that we do not give grace for the seasons of life we go through. For example people going on and on about Michael Todd’s Easter play, im convinced haven’t even watched the entire play where he talks about the fall of man, which duhh he has to show what sin looks like which is why he had them singing beyonce songs and dancing in hell cause that’s what sin is & looks like, but I don’t see anyone talking about the end of his play when Jesus rose from the dead and defeated Satan which is the MOST important part of the play. Michael Todd isn’t some peoples cup of tea which is fine, we all have our own target audiences & have certain people were meant to reach. Michael Todd can’t reach everyone but he sure has reached me. Needless to say we need to give grace to each other as Christian’s Especially if there’s no full context on why we’re being judgmental. You wearing what you wore to the Taylor swift concert unfortunately the “Christian community” is always going to have something to say 😅. There are still people out there that call themselves full blow Christians and don’t support women preachings & teachings. There are “Christians” out there that believe women shouldn’t wear pants but only skirts and dresses. At this point people need to find their Christian community that are helping with THEIR OWN convictions and fellowship in those spaces. Because again we all fall short of the glory of God, the Bible says we sin 7x daily yet God still calls us righteous even after falling that many times in a day, we aren’t gonna be perfect at this walk until the end of time. For me sometimes I out grow Christian spiritual leaders depending on if they are advancing in their role or not. Or depending on what I need in that season and maybe another Christian leader or pastor can help. That Isn’t bad at all. God is molding and pushing us to his image the best way he feels. And folks please don’t forget the amount of misfits that God used in the Bible. Come on now, today many of those esteem prophets and kings of the Bible would be greatly stoned. King David cheated on his wife and repented. But today if a pastor does it & repents we Cancel them. 🙄 Paul murdered soooo many Christians yet when Jeffery Dahmer repented in prison for being possessed by demons and confessing Jesus the Christian community still turned him away. Give me a break we Christian’s are so judgmental it’s crazy. There’s so many more examples in the Bible that I could compare with now a day believers and pastors. We just need to check our own selves and take the needle out of own eyes & pretty much find your Christian group that will help YOU on YOUR walk to Jesus. The world would be a better place if we just did that. If God says to come as you are, whether your a drunkard, pornstar, fascist or whatever & that he will cleanse you and make you whole and help you make it to heaven then how really are we “judging righteously”.

Keep up the great podcast, Jeanine - it's wonderful!! For anyone reading this, regarding how you navigate life, ask yourself....Am I going somewhere He would approve of? Am I seeing or listening to something He is ok with? Am I thinking on things that are true, noble, pure and praiseworthy...on things above? (see Phil 4:8 + Col 3:1-2) I'm praying that we remember to always PRAY for the Holy Spirit to guide us, for wisdom to follow Him + to practice the PRESENCE OF GOD in our lives always ☺

Jeanine! My heart goes out to you because I know that people also tend to forget that while you are a public figure you are also human and I fail so many times I can’t imagine having the whole world attacking you under a microscope. It makes me really sad that people who don’t know you took away a day that could’ve been a nice memory, while I understand completely the great intentions and looking out for discernment, i think it also very arrogant to think that we as Christian’s know the heart of every celebrity, or that we can judge them because we know better, Taylor Swift is Gods daughter too! And while i understand completely some dark things we might not fully understand even Jesus at the cross said “Forgive them for they do not know what they do” if Jesus had both grace and truth, what guards us Christian’s or who gives us the pass to judge without fully knowing what’s on the other side, we love you! And it makes me sad that this would happen to you because this in itself is the reason many people don’t even give Christianity a chance, out of the fear of being judged this heavily! And even knowing we continue to do it 🥺

Jeanine i love your podcast! I dont want to say this in condemnation or prideful. I just ask you to please look into how the Enneagram was created. It is genuinely demonic and im not speaking in a religious or condemning way, but just be careful because you might influence someone to get into enneagram and they might look into it and trust in it in a naive way. The enneagram was created through a man who was demonically possessed and throught automatic writing. Please look into it😢 still was blessed by the podcast though! Great stuff❤
