PMD Steam Cave (Reorchestrated)

A wild HappyDragonite appears…and even though I am personally in the middle of a blizzard and it’s -7 outside, let’s get steamy. The pun worked in my head, but in print it just sounds…yeah, okay anyway let’s talk the actual track, shall we? I actually started this project a long time ago, but when I was digging around in my WIP folder I gave it a listen, and where once I obviously saw just coal now I saw a diamond in the rough. To be honest, my biggest concern going back into Steam Cave was knowing it’s a fan favourite, and there’s no way everybody would be happy with my take on it-although I hope the majority of you guys like it. I had a blast with the strings, because I wanted them to sound really airy, and I think it worked maybe? Steam Cave is such a neat area-I’ve always loved the expedition segment of the Explorers games. Going from Foggy Forest (also a personal fave of mine!) to Steam Cave, just wondering what could be on the top of the mountain…it’s pretty neat. Q: Download links?
A: Unfortunately due to a computer upgrade I parted ways with all my files before mid-Summer 2014, but I am in the process of uploading those tracks presently, and from this point on (mid-December 2015) DOWNLOAD LINKS ARE BACK.
Q: You used my art in one of your videos, can I have credit?
A: For anything pre Autumn 2014 send me an email at HappyZoroark [at] gmail.com with the video title in the subject line, or art, and I will add a link for you in said video as soon as I can. As of September 2014 there will always be a link so you should have no reason to worry about credit unless it’s a bum link, or you (the artist in particular) would like a different link to be used, in which case you can email me. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Q: What do you use to produce your music?
A: High quality samples a la Kontakt 5, my wits, and Logic Pro 9. For video editing I use iMovie 9 (because the new one is impossible to figure out because I’m old and I don’t know how new fangled things work), and for image editing I use Pixelmator, which is a fantastic image editor for Mac, and doesn’t cost a bajillion dollars like Photoshop.
Q: Can I use your music in a video / monetized video?
A: Absolutely. You don’t even need to ask my permission, just add a link to my channel in the description of your video and it’s all good. No need to make it all complicated. Go right ahead. Q: How can I help support your channel ie. donations?
A: I don’t accept donations at this time, but watching my videos (liking etc.) helps. If you have adblock on, if you turned it off to watch the videos of the people you watch on KZbin (or whitelist KZbin!) that would be super cool, because that’s sort-of completely how I can afford to keep uploading videos instead of working retail, or running an international Rare Candy cartel. KZbin Red is also now a thing, so if you don’t like ads and want to support your favourite creators that is available!
