Roller High Gabriel Traveler Mode? I'm not familiar with that one. 😛 Excellent choice, Kolkata is my favorite large city in India, very interesting place. I was curious about the price of the room, checked online, $101. Not bad, five star luxury for less than my tiny room in Geneva with a twin bed and bathroom down the hall. Awesome that you pulled the rickshaw, that thing has clearly seen many decades of action.

@@uzistar7 India actually surpassed China in population size this year. Not that that should really be a source of pride for either country. Of course India is a fascinating country and culture, but I do think Indians have become too nationalistic and willing to argue about everything related to the country while denying it's multitude of problems which continue to exist. It is still very much a developing nation, but I think it is rising even as China is faltering under it's proto-fascist government and Xi Jinpeng.

Great one Harald! My Kolkata people is so genuine (not considering Rocky though 😆) Also at 37:00 he wasn't sceptical about the food. He asked "Dada khabe?" with hand gestures. Food vendors ask such questions to locals as to know how to hand over the food or roughly he was asking you "are you gonna eat it now? Or do you want us to parcel the food to take home?" The word "Dada" means elder brother. We Bengali people use "Dada" word to pay respect to our elders or to start a conversation with strangers. (Dada if male, Didi if female). I enjoy your vlogs simplicity. Have a great day!

Can you explain why in the beginning the barber was ignoring him and the fish market people seemed mocking and standoffish. I'm just genuinely curious.
@ronniebain9776 Жыл бұрын
@@sweetpea6814 I can understand the fish market may seem a bit cold or unfriendly if you are a foreigner but I would say here miscommunication and exhaustion out of hectic work of the locals is the biggest reason. As you can see they were finding very hard to make out what Harald was trying to express. The fish market starts functioning roughly around 04:30 A.M, they have to transfer heavy fish supplies from truck to selling spots with their bare hands (which can sometimes exceed 30 or 40 kilos with ices wrapped around), break large ice cubes and what not. This continues until 2 P.M which I think is when Harald investigated the sight. Some left, some are still preoccupied with their work. The guy who run away when got offered a price for the bi-cycle was probably called in by his boss for some works that needs to be done. Exhaustion, a little frastration, and poor understanding between the locals and Harald can seem a bit unfriendly. But their intentions were not to harm and definitely not judging you that I can assure. Although I don't really know why one of them referred to Mexico here. Maybe he has seen a Maxican tourism advertise somewhere that was stuck in his head. Oblivious to what Harald was saying and out of confusion to what to give as a response, maybe he just uttered Maxico. And for the barber part, I also don't really know why he ignored Harald. That's quite unusual. Maybe he is having a bad day personally. Everyone is not the same everyday I guess. This is what I think as a local. Please excuse my poor English as a second language. Have a great day!

Always do but it shows he’s already had 30,000 views. I think he’s doing alright doing what he enjoys

@@lisamillerbuchert9447 He posted to the subscriber community recently about the ratio of views to likes being off, and that impacts reach. KZbin algorithm can be tricky, and views alone isn’t a sole indicator of performance. Harald asked for help, and help shall be given so he can continue to procure fine wine for the fine wine man, and the many other adventures he takes us on. 🙌🏼

You might aswell just film grass growing somewhere in the world and I would still end up watching. Never feel presured to make some sort of video. I'm sure we all enjoy watching you enjoy random places around the world, always nice watching you release these videos! :)

I like how you buy stuff to help people out with a sale and then give it away to help feed someone else what a kind hearted person you are Harald

I wish more people you have come across in all your adventures would have been able to understand your inquisitiveness rather than seeing you as just a tourist. Harold you have entertained me for year's and it just keeps getting better. Thankyou.

These new India videos feel like a scene in a movie where the main character accidently stumbles upon a door where there shouldn't be one, and steps out of the "simulation" or whatever into the real world, something like the Truman Show I guess lol Anyways, after a few years of following The Northman, after this video I will have finally secured a red line under them all. What a fun ride it has been. Always looking forward to the next adventure!
