I let someone I thought was a friend move in with me once years ago, and that went downhill drastically. I didn't charge her, but I did ask her to contribute to groceries and take turns cleaning the cat box. She agreed , but after a month, she decided she was too good for it all. Also, I found out she was slagging me off to her workmates, but when they met me, it didn't match what she was saying. When I eventually put her out, she started giving random men on the street my phone number & address. If it weren't for the men describing what she looked like, I wouldn't have had proof.
