I have few GearWrench ones and the quality appears better for sure.

Hey, buy and review the Quinn telescoping 1/2 drive breaker bar.
@willb30183 жыл бұрын
Good honest review. Indexing pry bar is one of those things that you may hardly ever use, but when you need one, it sure is handy. Ask me how I know. I find myself at HF less and less. Pricing seems to be getting out of hand on certain items.

The extendable version has been bullet proof so far. Have had it about 6 months.

Seen a couple of them bent out ! When in full extension it's easy to bend them

Too bad for the price. I would paint it pink, paint eyes on the hinge, and drive into my front yard! Sunken Flamingo....great name for a bar.

I have a handful of these in various sizes... (18-24-36).. I have another one that expands from 39 in to 60 in...she's a beast... they're nice to have... I have an OTC pry spud like your Klien... identical..👍

Hello again Catus Maximus and Tiny Thank you for another Great Video. And thank you for your honest opinion. I do own Harbor Freight pry bars. And they do work well. I have never broken one yet? But the indexing pry bar, I will have wait until later. Again thank you

They are definitely specific uses. I have a 10 year old craftsman with that style. It's good but you have to understand it's limits

I have a 32" solid titanium crowbar and i have no clue what I should do with it.

I can see that tool having some uses, but I'd never use something like that for heavy duty prying. One solid piece or bust.

I just happened to look at one of those at HF about two days ago. I didn't buy it because it looked just a little weak for a prybar of that length. That hinge just seems a little weak to me.

I'm not ragging on HF but I have noticed a couple of the Quinn tools that I purchased seem to be very easy to break. I had a pair of dikes that I was using to cut some zip ties off some things and I was shocked when the tip of the cutter broke off. I tossed them and ended up buying one of their Doyle brand to see if there is a repeat of the issue.

Warranties are worthless when compared to the risk of injury or damage to parts if/when they break. Looks like poor design quality.

Heavy equipment mechanic use (so abused) and ive had it for months and not one issue. You should use it before you knock it. I get that you hate hf but geezzzz...

Also, I bet HF goes through quite a quandry of releasing a product that will be claimes to be 'affordable garbage' OR 'overpriced, for what it is." Real Goldilocks situation.

You should review a sk tools socket set. Before it says made in china or Taiwan.

Never shopped at HF, and never will. Especially after seeing them overcharge on lower quality stuff like this. If you happen to have any newer AMPCO wrenches, I'd love to see what you think of them. I picked up a few and not sure what to make of them, they have some really weird design choices to say the least.

I got exactly the same size and features, but mine is Gearwrench at half the price of the one that is in this video, Harbor Freight got be dreaming about those prices.
