2:27 My exact problem, manual says to check if there’s enough oil… I look inside and don’t know if it has enough. I’m gonna add some before I start using it.

Is the handle on yours installed correctly? I think the knurled end is the area where your hand would go and the padded area is closest to the jack and vehicle

No it’s not from what I can see.

I replaced the cheap brass fittings that came with the jack because they broke REAL EASILY. I got steel ones from my local hardware store and they work fine.

I bought this same jack twice within a week. I bleed it then try to pumb it up and it leaks a lot of the oil from the two cylinders at the back of the jack. Is this normal?
@TheHomeHandyman Жыл бұрын
No mine does not leak anything - take it back or call their tech support and see if there is something simple you can do to fix it.
@Damian-xc7km Жыл бұрын
Yea I did that. I got a blue one. It works perfectly. No leaks anywhere.

No need to add oil on that Daytona and the handle is upside down. Manual, read it. They're good jacks for the money.
@jeffro2212 жыл бұрын
You overfilled the oil, saying it was low from the factory. Not into reading manuals much? The manual shows clearly where it should be filled to, which was where it was when you brought it home.
@TheHomeHandyman2 жыл бұрын
I read it and your wrong it was very low and hardly any oil in it - and it was filled correctly - maybe you need to watch it again
@allekskristiansenschultz80822 жыл бұрын
@@TheHomeHandyman no clearly you overfilled it... it should be some free space in the camber.. u might blow ur o-rings quick with overfilling it...
@TheHomeHandyman2 жыл бұрын
@@allekskristiansenschultz8082 I will double check what you are saying but when i got the jack there was next to nothing in it - I agree there needs to be some free space

Good review. I have the hf floor jack Daytona was not out when I bought mine, would also buy the Daytona. The jacks are made in the same factory as the snap on jacks were.

I didnt know that - interesting and thanks

@@TheHomeHandyman yup they are the exact same jacks other than the snap on name brand on it

How could it have killed you if you had jacks supporting your car?
@itisaporsche Жыл бұрын
Can you explain? Might save someone's life. Plus, did you get under your vehicle w/o jack stands? Never should do that. Not sure how it could kill you if used properly. But I'm curious. Glad you are ok.
