Pit bulls may have a bad rap, but it's a well deserved bad rap. They're great dogs - until they're not. They are selectively bred for heightened levels of aggression, a high pain tolerance when excited, and a high prey drive. They are also bred to fight to the finish no matter what (gameness). It is the OWNER'S responsibility to raise them like babies, treat them right, etc., and they are Great dogs, I love them and I've never met an aggressive one. ANY dog of ANY breed can get pissed off and attack anyone or anything. Just like people, sometimes animals lose control. You have to be careful and watchful around animals and people!

@F. Aduke Femi-Babalola- I'd be wary of the possibilities of any kind of activity of a small child in front of me and obviously notice an extremely large person, and probably instantly hope they wouldn't fall because I'm small and couldn't help them get up. If I was driving I'd notice any pedestrian. It all depends on where you are & what you are doing. I don't let my dogs out unleashed and I wouldn't invite a stranger to try and pet 1 of my 2 dogs because he doesn't like strangers. I was talking about normal consideration for other people as well as protecting yourself in the great scheme of things, maybe I wasn't explicit enough?

Pitbulls have already killed two kids this year and we’re only in January.
@jessicamcgaughey85513 жыл бұрын
@@ilovecourtshows2210 but that also comes into parental negligence, not watching the child with the dog. Many videos of parents allowing their kids to jump on dogs and pull at their face and such. Any dog can only take so much. Not saying that is always the case, but people never consider if maybe the dog was acting to protect its babies, or self defense.

Listen animal lovers, pitbull’s were breed to be an aggressive breed. Now I do agree people who own pitbull‘s should be more cautious of their surroundings, however stop acting like pit bulls are only aggressive due to their owner negligence. That’s bulls!hit and y’all know it!!!

A mother, Father, one month old baby and Pitbull where sleeping on the bed, the Mother coughed which startled the dog who than bit the baby in half. It has nothing to do with training Pit's were bred to kill. A well trained Pit is 100% loyal to it's owners and will attack anything it thinks is a threat.

The audacity of the defendants to counter sue for a fence! 😂 What happened here is so cut and dry and the fact that the defendants even thought they had a chance in court is beyond stupid… there are two people in that relationship and not one of them had common sense to just say “hey, our dogs went over to their property and attacked their dog therefore we are at fault”… 🤦🏽

I kinda think it’s slightly messed up that the plaintiffs know their dog did attack the neighbor’s dogs on previous occasions and the defendants never asked for compensation or contacted authorities. Yet when the defendant’s dog retaliated, the plaintiff’s initiated the process to have him put down and sued. If the defendants were like the plaintiffs Blue would have been put down 2 years ago when he attacked their dog Lily or the dog that was retaliating. I bet the next time Blue acts up the defendants are going to call the authorities and Blue will be euthanized. What goes around comes around. They are both responsible and negligent. They should have done a lot of things differently.

An American Staffordshire terrier is NOT the same as a pitbull
@jessicaaaaaaaaaaa953 жыл бұрын
This! They are grouped with them, but according to the AKC, they’re different breeds.
@DavidHernandez-zw3oy3 жыл бұрын
American staffordshire terriers are considered pit bulls by legislation targeting pitt bulls....so yeah they're technically bred in a different group but by law they're considered a pitt so if a city has laws saying that pitts are banned the same is for the staffordshire because they have so much in common and have the been characterized as having the same lockjaw that american pitbull terriers have and is what makes them considered a pitt bulls by technicality...... American bulldogs are not pitt bulls but staffordshire are actually classified as such. If the law says it is a pitt then it's considered a pitt by all associations and veterinarian practices 🤷♀️.... doesn't matter if it's a little different if the laws classify the breed as the same as an american pitbull terrier.
@jennross64663 жыл бұрын
Generally speaking, the American Staffordshire terrier is nearly the same breed as the American pit bull terrier. Today, the main difference is in appearance. The American Pit Bull Terrier is one of the so-called bully breeds often labeled a pit bull. In fact, "pit bull" isn't a breed, but a term used to describe the American Pit Bull Terrier, the Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Same breed just different sizes and appearances.

Thank you! I wish more people would do that & I was disappointed when the plaintiff grouped the AmStaff as a pb. Two different dogs completely
@stephanieruiz90533 жыл бұрын
Exactly!!! I have a staffie and he’s actually much bigger than a pittie. Pbs are actually smaller and more agile.
@debshaw6802 жыл бұрын
A staffy isn’t a pit bull. Either he is using that to hide the fact that he has a pit bull or he doesn’t understand what a staffy is. Pit bulls are not good pets. There are way too many attacks. One of my dogs is a former bait dog. They let young dogs fight smaller dogs. The scars are terrible. My other dog is 13 lbs. and we were attacked 3 times by a neighbor’s pit who tore the screen out of the window to get at us. Even his owner wasn’t willing to wade in. Luckily I was able to hold my dog over my head so I was the only one injured. He dragged his owner after me the other two times. They got kicked out of the complex after it knocked an elderly lady down and savaged her dog. My daughter’s silky terrier was brutally attacked by her neighbor’s pit that jumped into her fenced yard. Thousands in vet bills. He won’t go into his yard any more. They have to put him in the car every time he needs a walk and take him down the road.

Sorry, but I don't feel bad for the Plaintiff and his pit bull despite seeing those pictures. It attacked the first dog Lilly unprovoked and the Defendants did not collect for damages to their dog in that incident when they could have. It is unfortunate for the Defendants that the Plaintiff was prepared and they weren't. Judge was correct in stating that Defendants still should have assumed more responsibility by taking precautionary measures in either reinforcing the fence or erecting another fence.

I don’t understand people and their dogs. I have a dog a lot of my neighbors have dogs we’re all careful knock on wood never had an incident in our neighborhood where one dog attacked another dog people get out of the way people just don’t let it happen cuz every owner is responsible for their dogs actions even when they act like an animal and attack. You have to stop your dog. It’s The humans responsibility.

Wtf why didn’t they try to regime their dog? They said this was the first sign of aggression and it’s just with this one dog from past trauma. Just don’t walk that way or rehire. You killed your dog for this? There must be more to it.
