Brilliant as usual! The muting (I think you're just using a square wave to open and close the vca?) is a really nice effect. Now I gotta watch the movie, not sure if I've ever seen it.

Thanks! It’s by hand mostly, opening and closing the vca or in this case blending morphagene halfway or completely (if that’s what you were thinking) but again thanks so much for watching I always appreciate the comment and definitely watch Hard Boiled it’s great!

@@eternityhotline Ha, no, that wasn't what I was thinking, but listening to it again by the measure of your comment, I suddenly heard a whole new track when I was listening for texture instead of rhythm... I guess it's just the mood I was in a couple of days ago compared to the mood I'm in now - My ears hear a whole different sound. Even better!

@@richarquis that happens to me all the time, which I like when it’s for these off the cuff studio jams but am careful to consider when it’s for something more official. But that actually happened with this very track - I had recorded the session and the next day sat down to edit and it was a completely different track. So anyway, thanks for diving in, I enjoy so much hearing another perspective on these videos!
