Hard Surface ZBrush Tutorial Series // Modeling A Kawasaki Ninja H2R // 13

Welcome back to our ZBrush tutorial series! Today, we're diving into the creation of the air intake and gas tank for our motorcycle project.
First up, we'll adjust a polyplane to form the base of our air intake, focusing on precision and flexibility through vert pushing-also known as vertex manipulation. This technique allows us to manipulate points with the gizmo, the ZModeler brush, or the move brush for exact positioning and shaping.
We'll then progress to more complex modifications, including extruding edges, inserting edgeloops, and using the 'move infinite radius' and 'move infinite depth' brushes to adjust and refine the form of the air intake. Special attention will be given to achieving the right separation and height from various views, ensuring our model closely matches our reference.
Thoughout the tutorial, we will discuss a wide range of topics. We will cover topology and proper edge flow. Also the importance of polygroups for hardsurface modeling. Finally, we talk about how to translate forms and andle changes from reference images and how to apply that into your 3d modeling.
