Technical skill is only one part of music.....but it's a part that I love. I just have the utmost appreciation for those with MASSIVE technical skill. Which aside from the comedy is why I really liked Davie's channel. It wasn't just "a bass channel". Davie is a REALLY good bassist. But Charles.....you are on a different planet. You deserve every accolade here. I'm a pretty good bassist, but I'm not in either of your zip codes....I also appreciate the humbleness of both of you. What is much more accurate would be say comparing two different basketball players at the same sport. Does Lebron James not have a drastically different style of play when compared to say Shaquille o'neal? Of course even then I would agree that its almost impossible to compare the two as their play styles and what they do well is just so different. But having said that, at the end of the day, I would still say I think Lebron is the much better player. Both are great in their own right but to me personally not even close. Very good and ridiculously technical. I have to admit after watching some of your vids, though, that my favorite thus far is your cover of “Mad World”; truly epic! You demonstrate your technical ability, but you also put a lot of feeling and artistry into the interpretation of the song which is awesome because the piece is very emotional and has very deep meaning to the composer Roland Orzibal.
