Yes , that definitely looks to be original quartz vein contacting that other rock but seriously decomposing , Hopefully you can follow it even though it has multiple breaks in it and hopefully it is LOADED !!! with shiny 💥. I Hope your eye is OK Keith . Yes , you must get things like that seen too . Iv'e had a few eye injuries throughout my lifetime and they are no fun at all . Anyway , that was a great discovery , 👍👍 Cheers Ned ✌

This particular section is probably depleted according to other samples, but at least we can see what's going on.

Thank you @Keith for your courage. This is wonderful time; to build strong children than to repair broken men.

I agree with your second sentiment. Not sure what the courage refers to, but I;ll take it. I presume the eye. Small fragment needed removal from cornea. Eye feels fine now, will be blurry for a bit is all.

Phytoprospection. A lost art realy. Here in Austria back in the day we had Italians supposingly digging out more riches than anybody else. By their knowledge of (not only) gold indicating plants and such. Fascinating field! Let us know how your eye gets along please. Im always worried when there is something wrong with your health :) Greetings from Austria and rock on!

Turns out there was a very small object embedded in my cornea. It was easily removed and now will be uncomfortable for a few days. Should be no lingering issues. Definitely needed to be dealt with though. Thank you for your concern.

I'll bet your rock is rich in carbonates too.. add some vinegar to the mineral pockets and see if it fizzes. That would explain the root vegetation

I agree completely/ Scheduled for tomorrow.

@@hardrockuniversity7283 super stoked. I have the same ore, I believe the carbonates have adsorbed all of the gold chloride from solution 😶 I invented a process for extraction and assay, I just don't have the time. I think we need to collaborate.

There is a spongy rock by my hpuse that the roots seem to like. I was thinking it was because it retains water better when it rains. I wonder if the vugs in the quartz acts the same way.

Hey Keith can you explain the effects of lightening striking a vein and how far it may travel in a vein and what it will do to the material in the vein...thank you for the reply.
@hardrockuniversity728324 күн бұрын
That is an excellent question that I am not qualified to answer. Many quartz veins that containing gold would not have much more conductivity than the host rock, in other cases it might. As to what happens when the current passes through, I would imagine that the effects would be reasonably localized. Would be cool to find out without personally experiencing it. This weeken we had lightening within 2000 feet before we were able to get back into the camper.

@@hardrockuniversity7283 I think that would be a worthy experiment to do. Thank you for your quick reply😁

@@robertmcquade1954 Hmm.. aligning gold quantumly to allow for metal crystallization perhaps? As star gold may be incapable of melting together without being properly aligned.

The material directly above had been disturbed during the dozer event IMO. Eva says she has noted a distinct association between the juniper bushes and quartz on the dumps.
