Great overview! I checked the manual and it looks like Mackie intended for the Aux Return as channels 7/8.

It is an exact replica of Tapco Mix 60..I had bought Tapco Mix 60 almost 10 years back and it still works great(except for one CTRL KNob)

You wouldn't connect the camera to the mixer, you connect the mixer to the camera. Do you have a microphone?

@@HardwareForGamers yes I have a microphone. I can connect my mix 8 to my canon but were do I put the cables from mix 8. I know were it goes in my camera. It's the mix 8 I don't know.

@@VaporsChoiceMrTestIt the main out would go to the camera, and you use the camera to record the audio when you are recording the video.

Is this a good mixer for someone trying to get into voice acting?

I'm not sure, it might be a good starting point because you can adjust the Hi, Mid, and Low. For the price it's a good mixer.
